Steigenberger Chengdu

This summer, I took my elderly parents and my child to Dujiangyan, and our whole family was very satisfied with this hotel. Special thanks to our hotel butler, Yuna, for her attentive and thoughtful service. I highly recommend this hotel with five stars and will definitely tell my friends and family about it. It's also very close to the water park and skiing!

Let's start with the pros: 1. The bedding in the room was soft and comfortable; the scent of the toiletries was lovely, and they were pleasant to use. 2. We received complimentary water park tickets upon check-in, which made visiting the park very convenient. This was the main reason I chose this hotel. 3. They allowed us a late check-out, and some staff members were quite flexible. Now for the cons: 1. The facilities are a bit old and overall unremarkable; the breakfast buffet offered standard choices, nothing exceptional. 2. There's significant room for improvement in hotel management. While the service center staff were polite, their professionalism was lacking. When transferring calls, they would often connect directly without informing me of the purpose of the transfer. My call was even transferred to the security department, where the staff member spoke rudely, directly asking, "What do you want? What's the matter?" which was quite surprising. I suspect that due to high daily traffic, basic staff training is insufficient, service awareness is weak, and staff professionalism is lacking. I hope management addresses the issue of staff training seriously.

This hotel's decor is exactly my style – quiet and elegant. I was very happy with the large, clean room and comfortable bedding. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff provided great service. A special thanks to Yuna, who called a day in advance to arrange an upgrade to a deluxe lake-view room. My stay was delightful, and I highly recommend it. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance.

The hotel is good. The surroundings are a bit noisy, but the hotel's interior environment is excellent, and the grounds are very spacious. Leo Wu was a great help.

Great value for money! For just over 700, it included two tickets to the water park, and the pool and hot springs were fantastic – my kids absolutely loved them. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Dujiangyan.

Full marks recommendation for the Dujiangyan Sunac Steigenberger Hotel! This family vacation experience was absolutely fantastic, and I must give a special shout-out to our dedicated butler, Yuna! She proactively contacted us before check-in to arrange everything. Knowing we had children, she prepared a full set of kids' toiletries in advance – such thoughtful details that made our kids so happy to see their special amenities. One evening, the hotel lawn party was a bit noisy, disturbing our elderly parents and children. After we spoke to Yuna, she immediately coordinated with staff to end the event early. Her efficiency and consideration for guests were truly heartwarming. We also asked Yuna to help us book a restaurant in advance. After a full day out in the summer heat, it was such a relief to arrive at the restaurant and immediately enjoy a delicious meal without any waiting. So hassle-free, especially in such hot weather. Throughout our stay, any request was met with a super-fast response, everything was well-arranged, and the service was meticulously detailed. The hotel environment is elegant and comfortable, making it a top choice for families with children. Next time we visit Dujiangyan, we'll definitely choose this place again, and we'll be sure to ask for Yuna!

Everything about this hotel was great. It was super convenient for taking the kids to the amusement park next door. The service was excellent; someone even contacted us a few days beforehand. We'll definitely be back when we have time!
