Days Inn by Wyndham Duluth Lakewalk

My first time using virtual check in and out. Worked well.

I needed a hotel room because I was evacuated from a nearby forest fire. So it should have come as no surprise that the hotel was also housing fire fighters and for that reason had a lingering smell of smoke. Don't get me wrong - I was glad to have a room and I was grateful for the work of the fire fighters. It was just a bit unpleasant. So I opened the window, turned on the A/C, and lived with the highway noise. I felt lucky to get a reasonably priced room at the last minute.

We have stayed at several Days Inn Hotels on our trip... The gentleman at the front desk lacked professionalism as the front desk person is an ambassador of the establishment..personally, if you're unhappy with your management or corporate heads, I believe you should deal with them, not your customers...however, he was helpful with the sign on for wifi Unfortunately, this location is in need of some tlc...the ice machine wasn't working and it appeared it hadn't for sometime...bathroom door didn't properly close...

Someone during the night broke the glass to a back door,to the facility. There was still glass behind our parked car there in the morning. Observed at two different times people climbing in and out of their windows of two different rooms.??????

If you want to save MONEY AND ARE NOT VERY particular about looks, the room was clean, the sheets and towels fresh and not thin, and the bed although creaky was the best and most comfortable of all the other higher end places I've been. The room served its purpose and we were satisfied.

This hotel was exactly what I needed for my overnight stay in Duluth. The front desk staff was fantastic and so helpful and accommodating! I appreciated their helpfulness and kindness!

TV broken, water stains on ceiling, heater thermostat didn't work. breakfast was just a couple muffins amd coffee machine broken.

This is an older hotel that could use a little refresher but that being said, it’s clean, has comfortable beds, very friendly staff, and nice breakfast. Location is quite convenient for hospital and college. I would stay here again.

The check in was fine, the staff was super helpful and friendly. The hotel is outdated, had a musk to it, including the hallways and the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and clean. The heater/AC wasn’t too noisy either. I didn’t try the breakfast, as it opens at 0630.
