Well-run, comfortable and pleasant hotel in a fantastic location, just a few minutes' walk to the beach, Canal Park and the Aerial Lift Bridge. We left our car and explored on foot, visiting great bars, restaurants and shops just across the bridge and (just 10 minutes via the Lakewalk) downtown. We also drove to the point, which is beautiful. The hotel itself has nice historic photos and some pleasant décor, but is fairly generic, optimized for conferences. Our room was nice, well appointed, and with a balcony that we really appreciated. The beds were comfortable enough, and breakfast was on the better end of standard chain-hotel fare. The black towels for women with makeup were a nice touch; now maybe they can try to get rid of plastic bottles and plastic-wrapped everything for more eco-friendliness? Still, we'd definitely come back for the location alone.
