Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Duluth North, MN

The hotel was good location, clean and the room is large and cool .

This is the fourth time I went to a country inn and suites and had the pool, hot tub, water slide, And or all of them not working/closed. I wasnt notified until I went to check in.. on their site, says everything was working. Wouldn't be a huge deal if i was traveling anf got the room for sleep and shower, etc. But I only go to the ones here in duluth and proctor for the hot tub; pool and slide as I get the rooms for my kids birthday party. Very disappointing

We found that our beds were wore out and uncomfortable the pool was open but the water slide and the hot tub were completely out of order. We did not receive any sort of notification before arriving to the hotel that the pool area was not functioning as it supposed to

Hot tub and slide were down. Just staying in the room would be fine but when taking the kids for a mid-week close get away, wasn’t great.

We had a nice stay! All staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was easy and good.

The fresh cookies were amazing but the pool was closed and I was told that they all they had to do was add water but they never did nor would they offer a discount for not having the pool open they told me to go 5 mi down the road and use a pool at another facility. Had it not been 30° outside this maybe would not have been a bad thing but I really did not need pneumonia.

Waterside was broken, hot tub was drained. Hotel room floors weren’t vacuumed, windows had handprints all over. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Breakfast was pretty sparse. State shut down waterslide and hot tub. Big disappointment. Pool was ice cold so did not swim.

Stayed here friday April 24th, 2026. This place has some excellent employees, Kourtney front desk had a lot of patients, she knew how to de escalate a bad situation. Cleaning staff Eric & Mary went above & beyond with room service, they're lucky to have such good employees. With that said the manager that came on at 3:00 that day totally the opposite, very rude and instantly escalating a bad situation. The reason we booked this hotel was the picture of the slide they have. Looked so fun for the grand kids, i dont book rooms very often but this was a special weekend with my grand kids. Duluth has a lot of hotels, i could of booked anywhere but the picture of the slide looks so awesome for the grandkids. When we got there the slide was out of order( found out its been that way for months) also the hot tub was out of order, very misleading felt somewhat scammed, and very bummed. The following day the pool was closed also. Was told maybe at three it would open( after a reading inspection of the water) Ended up going to a sister Hotel where they let us use the pool. That was so awesome of the employees from both hotels to make a bummer of a day ( stay) awsome . So ya if your staying here because of the awesome looking slide plz call ahead of time, it might be out of order, like the hot & pool .
