Hampton Inn & Suites Dumas

It’s was our first time traveling to Dumas Tx, and wasn’t sure what to expect but everything was spotless clean.

Friendly staff, clean quiet rooms, ample secure parking. Stayed here last year as well and I am pleased to see that the hotel is well maintained.

Our go to place for reliable cleanliness and quality bedding for good sleep along the journey.

There was no heat in the room. Hotel attendant was not able to get the heater in the room to work. We were without heat all night. The wind was coming through the ac/heating unit making a howling noise that made it unable to sleep. We tried to take a shower and there wasn’t any hot water. The water coming out of the shower was barely warm and not warm enough to take a bath in. When we checked out the attendant at the front desk didn’t seemed concerned about the trouble we had.

We expect a heated pool when they advertise a heated pool for our kids. It lets the kids unwind after ten hours in the car. Nope! Shame on us for picking this hotel twice now for our midway point traveling to ski in Colorado.

room was very clean, staff was very nice and accommodating, the food was good and area was very clean but the walls and floors are not insulated against noise. The people above us sounded like a herd of elephants that night and also woke us up early in the morning. This was our only complaint.

Best rest! Large jacuzzi tub next to the comfy King size bed was definitely a plus! Very clean and smelled good also. Best nights rest away from home in a loooong time.
