Dunhuang Yunbo International Hotel Reviews

The Yunbo International Hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Shazhou Night Market. The rooms are clean and feature smart bathroom facilities. The service is attentive, and they even offer a complimentary airport pick-up service. It's incredibly convenient for visiting Mingsha Mountain and the Mogao Grottoes, offering superb value for money.

The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry area, and very clean. The hotel is located right on Mingshan North Road, a straight shot to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake and the Dunhuang Museum. It's also within walking distance of Fan Tan Pipa, Dunhuang Night Market, the Danghe River, and the Dunhuang Library.

The hotel was excellent.

10 mins walk to Shazhou Night market. Staff speaks mandarin and were helpful. They have lifts in th hotele building.

Services are good, near to night market, shopping streets, foods

The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well, and the shower was powerful. There is a laundry room on the 2nd floor, and one can hang clothes out to dry on the roof. Staff were helpful and polite.

Location is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality. Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality. Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking. Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.

The hotel staff especially staff 005, 006 and 007 are very helpful. They helped us to find transport to Lianyuan Station which is 130km away from city. Really need to thanks them as we are running short of time. Overall the room is clean and bed is comfortable.

Staying at Yunbo International Hotel in Dunhuang was a fantastic experience – a 5-star recommendation! The location is superb, within walking distance of Shazhou Night Market, making it incredibly convenient for eating, drinking, and sightseeing. It's also very close to Mingsha Mountain. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had fresh air. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was smart, with plenty of hot water, and the facilities were new and in great working order. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing quick check-in and meticulous service, even proactively helping with luggage – the attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming. The hotel also features a rooftop garden and a self-service laundry room, making it extremely convenient for getting around. Excellent value for money – the top choice for any trip to Dunhuang, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The parking lot is extremely difficult to use! For a novice driver on the Qinghai-Gansu Ring Road self-driving tour, parking is still a bit of a challenge, but it was easy to park at the scenic spots and hotel parking lots along the way. Dunhuang is a place where every inch of land is valuable. It is so difficult to park a car! I deliberately picked a hotel with its own parking facilities, but it was so different from what I expected! You have to make a hard turn in the alley to get into the underground garage, and the above-ground part is also extremely narrow with curbs in front and behind! Wonder who designed the garage entrance! The next day, I changed hotels in Dunhuang (Wanhong), which also said it had a parking lot. He told me it was thirty meters away and asked me to open the door for me. However, I didn't see him and went up the wrong slope. I finally managed to escape. I called the hotel, but I didn't remember the names of either hotel, so I called Yunbo Hotel. After a long conversation, the other party realized that they might have dialed the wrong hotel number. At this point, I was so furious! Why is parking so difficult in hotels in Dunhuang? It took a lot of effort to finally enter the underground parking lot of the hotel the next day, but I had great doubts about entering and exiting in the future. It felt too difficult!

I was stunned when I came in. The rest area was so luxurious and the service was excellent! ! ! Especially warm and considerate! ! ! The location is also great, close to the night market and attractions! ! ! There is also a special car to pick us up at the airport in a timely manner, waiting for us there~~Wuhu, I will only choose this hotel when I come to Dunhuang
