Greetings from our thrilling cycling journey that began in Xi’an and unfolded towards Dun Huang. Our lodging arrangements, thoughtfully made via Trip.com for August 24-27, 2023 unveiled an exceptional experience that we’re eager to share. The establishment, overseen by the affable Padma and Dorje, left an indelible mark on our sojourn. Nestled in the heart of Dun Huang, the inn effortlessly harmonizes Tibetan influences with the comforts of a welcoming abode. The spaciousness and impeccable maintenance of our accommodations, coupled with the inviting reading/working enclave, afforded us both tranquility and productivity. This inviting setup was made even more special by the attentive presence of Padma and Dorje. Their hospitalities proved to be a highlight of our stay, as they not only welcomed us warmly but also lent their expertise to enhance our exploration of Dun Huang’s treasures. Their guidance led us to uncover remarkable places that enriched our travel narrative. It is with utmost sincerity that we endorse this establishment to fellow travelers seeking both comfort and cultural immersion.

The best youth hostel I’ve been to in China. There’s a beautiful living room full of books, real photo prints and photographic equipment.

I had a great experience in staying at this hostel. The hosts created a facility which is beyond expectations. The location offered great food options and the night market experience was fantabulous. Hosts are travelers and hence they had created this facility with lots of love and care. Strongly recommend for youth and solo travelers specifically for foreigners as this the experience you will never forget.

The best youth hostel I’ve ever stayed. It’s very clean and tidy. I really liked the lounge, which has so many books including English ones. The owner is also friendly and I felt very comfortable there.

Located right in Shanzhou market. Very convenient to walk around. Perfect location. Rooms and shared bathrooms are clean. I will definitely stay here again.

Affordable Luxury, excellent attention to detail and one of the best hostels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The owner has created a chilled out, peaceful vibe according to Buddhist fashion and beautiful artworks of Chinese scenery. Seems like the owner is also a backpacker, so he knows what travellers want. Everything is really high quality - massive comfy beds, free drinking water & a great public space for reading, playing music and socialising. If I didn't have to leave, I'd happily live in this hostal forever. Also recommend it to foreigners who aren't sure about using Chinese - the owner's English is great.

Excellent place to stay. Everything is perfectly clean and decorated and arranged with an eye for detail. Owner is very welcoming. Central location is an asset as environment offers plenty of food options and a lively night market right in front of the door (which did not disturb my sleep).
