Paradise Awaits

Our family had an amazing stay at Paradise Awaits! We were traveling with a larger group of adults, and the home had plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still enjoying time together. The views were absolutely beautiful, and we loved the peaceful location. It truly felt like our own little slice of paradise. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It made the perfect home base for exploring St. Croix during the day and relaxing together in the evenings. The host was wonderful to work with and communicated promptly throughout the entire process. We would absolutely stay at Paradise Awaits again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable home in St. Croix!

This home was perfect for our vacation! We traveled as 4 couples and everyone had their own bathrooms & bedrooms. The home was well stocked for eating/cooking as well as extras. The wifi worked great and the pool deck was stunning for long days and nights. As the less touristy/populated area, it was quiet and clean. The linens and beds were extremely comfortable! The check in and out processes were seamless. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best VRBO’s our group has ever stayed in…and we travel A LOT!!! There was plenty of space, super comfortable beds, every amenity you could possibly think of…and it was VERY clean. And, the views are spectacular from either side of the HUGE deck There’s no doubt that when we return to St. Croix we’ll be staying HERE! The host was great and attentive…without being overbearing…and he was very thoughtful about making sure I had a wonderful birthday stay. Bottom line, this place is a 10/10! Don’t think twice…book it. You get sooooo much more than what you see…and what you see is truly ALL there.

John and Wendy are extraordinary super hosts! John's hospitality and kindness began well before we arrived in St. Croix. I chose this VRBO because of John's kind and thoughtful response when I requested to stay here. My emotions were raw due to grief, and his words were kind, comforting, and encouraging. You see, this trip was not an easy one because we were going to St. Croix to bury my mother. But John and Wendy made a lasting impression for us serving not only as hosts but concierge, from helping us reserve a taxi to the property, and friends, who prepared dinner for us for the first night. The lasagna was delicious and thoughtfully made with our diet restrictions in mind. John was easy to talk to and always accessible. He checked on us and sent encouraging messages. The property was clean, comfortable, organized and had everything we needed that it felt like home. The view from the property was breathtaking and allowed me to have a comfortable space each morning for meditation and contemplation, something a grieving person needs. I could not imagine staying anywhere on the island but here. Best of all, he was willing to accommodate a later check out given our circumstance and later flight. I am forever grateful to John and Wendy. by the end of the trip, no one wanted to go home. We came with grieving hearts and left with lifetime friends. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 10-day stay over Christmas. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed. The deck is outstanding, and the pool is great. We loved the views on both sides. There are several beaches close by. Smugglers Cove was an easy walk. The stores are also very easy to get to. John was a great host and answered our texts very quickly. It was also nice to know he was close by. If we got back to St. Croix, we will stay here, hopefully for longer.

This property is a hidden gem. The owners are as well. The pictures don't do it justice. There are full ocean views on both sides of the deck, the house is clean and VERY spacious, A/C throughout, the kitchen is very large and FULLY stocked with all necessary pots/pans/utensils. All 4 rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and beautiful. Our family have been traveling for dive trips for the last 25 years, and this is the first home I felt like I could actually live in. John is an EXCELLENT host. Anything you need at any time and he is on the doorstep. A very good friend of mine died suddenly 5 days before we arrived. Needless to say, I was grieving quite heavily. The peace and serenity of having total privacy, sitting on the balcony, looking at the ocean and being cooled by the winds then star gazing at night really put my soul at peace. This place is magical and we cannot wait to return.

AMAZING! I don’t know where to begin with my review of this property. Everything was so amazing, it’s hard to put into words. John the owner is hands down the best host I’ve ever encountered. He goes way above & beyond any expectation. The house is breathtaking….views from every room, clean & stocked with anything you may need….including a nice Cruzan rum bar! The pool was picture perfect & so refreshing after a day at the beach. I could go on all day about the house & John…..thank you from the Totten family

Great Home in Paradise Paradise Awaits is the perfect description of the property. It is immaculately maintained, quiet, secure and has postcard views of the island, beaches and surrounding hillsides. The property is located on the East side of the island (quieter side) and came with a fully equipped kitchen that had all the amenities required to prep meals and snacks for the family of 6. The owners met us for check-in and explained all the aspects of the property. Check out was just as easy. The house is large with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Nights by the pool are magical with the dark skies, stars and sounds of the surf coming up from the beach. A perfect home base for an outstanding visit to St. Croix. Look forward to coming back for the next Caribbean vacation!

70th Birthday Celebration Paradise Awaits is a perfect destination for a milestone birthday. We were multi-generational family group of 8 and the accommodation were perfect...especially the hugh saltwater pool and beautiful outdoor living area. Host John was great to work with, quick ti answer any question and a great help in getting us checked in for our stay.
