Pros: 1. location close to city 2. breakfast on site 3. free parking Cons: no reception staff at 8am or after 6pm, the notice on wall is to 7pm, have to wait 10 mins for staff to come from somewhere bit of unclean in detail but acceptable for the price

We booked this placed based on the photos they shared in the trip.com. We were looking for a medieval Victorian era experience. But we experienced a medieval Victorian horror story. The first room they gave us stank like alcohol and uncleaned toilet. I found they had not even cleaned the kettle, as there were some water remaining from the previous use. I got a headache from the alcohol smell and informed the staffs and they gave us another room, which was cracked and looked so scary. The AC was so noisy and I could not sleep with the noise coming from the AC and the train (Station was close by-which was a convenient in a way as well as not that great due to the noise). The bathroom was not clean at all and there were molds in the shower door of the bathroom. There are so many sprays available in the store for these molds, I'm so confused why they haven't used any to at least to make it look clean. The toilet was stained. The toilet brush was indescribable. I noticed that the pillow and the quilt sheets are old and stained with sweat. We immediately went out to search for another hotel without even requesting a refund but unfortunately we cannot find any at that time. My wife used the hairdryer and it exploded from inside due to possibly short circuit. Luckily nothing happened to her. We got so traumatized. When I went and told this to the guy in the reception, he ignored me completely. The stay was a nightmare and I hope nobody experiences this. My concern is that the build was in such a bad condition and not suitable for stay or sanitary at all but why are they charging this much. Honestly, it might be affordable but it's not worth the peril you will go through. I regret coming here.

The $50 security deposit is not advertised at all, you are made to feel uncomfortable when you make the point, + it takes 30 min of your time being wasted until the staff finally agrees it is unsatifactory & not necessary. The first room i was given did smell of vomit. However the staff immediately changed rooms with no fuss, the upholstery in the dinning room was so filthy, i had to get a cushion from the lounge area to feel less repulsed, the breakfast did appear quite adequate however the beans were not to my taste? The staff are absolutely on point, considering what they are working with, the staff are the only saving grace to the situation. I would definitely not book online, only in person onsite, in which case i believe i would immediately decide to find alternative accommodation.

It's an old place..carpets are too old and looked unclean..Unclean beneath and beside the cots..Need a good tidy up and freshness... Friendly staff.. Food area was well looked after..
