Hotel stay was comfortable and excellent for a short stay. Hotel looks old and has an ancient lift, but overall is well maintained and the room is clean and great. Toilet may be a bit cramp and the shower head is leaking causing water to splash out from the bathtub and flood the toilet floor. Location is good as it faces directly to the sea and is 15 mins walk away from the train station. However, there was no bottled water provided and the kettle looks filthy with a white layer coated on it, but the staff was friendly and provided hot water upon request at the reception. Beside that, the overall stay was pleasant and the room is clean.

The hotel was in a beautiful seafront location but our room was not very good. It was small but not very clean. The curtains were full of dust, we had a really bad view with dirt and rust on the roof. The staff were not friendly, they seemed cold and provided very basic customer service. We enjoyed our stay in the area but the hotel was a massive let down.

Can’t beat it for proximity to the Pier but it has certainly seen better times (as the whole town - charming as it is).

Very outdated and in need of total refurbishment. Sorry to say very unclean every aspect. Windows may as well have been open, old sash windows that let in cold and noise, central heating throughout hotel not working and a convector heater placed in room. Toilet inaccessible for the average human without approaching sideways. Shower tray filthy.
Very dated hotel that’s needs a complete overhaul.. sorry for poor but honest review

The room was a disgrace. It smelled bad, the sink was cracked the toilet was dirty. The windows were rotten and filthy. The carpet was stained. There was evidence of a water leak on the ceiling and carpet. We paid £80 for the
