I went on a coach holiday, with daish,I went on my own.i made some good friends, the hotel staff was fantastic.i hired a scooter.as I'm not very mobile.went out and around my self.as the trips didn't interest me.plus I wanted to work to my own timetable.the hotel is just of the sea front.bus stops 2 mins away takes you into Brighton and a few other, destination.i choose to go on the train, into Brighton as I needed my scooter to get around.the train station is just within the town.eastbourne as a good selection of shops to go to.the hotel staff.used to put my scooter out each morning.and when I was finished with it.they used to get it in.there is entertainment in the hotel at night.bingo and singing.i took a look in the bar.but I didn't stop as this is not really my thing..the rooms was cleaned daily.unless you put a do not enter on your door..one of the nicest hotels I've ever visited..thank you.

Without a doubt the best & most efficient hotel I've stayed in, in the UK. The standards of helpfulness, cleanliness , & service was second to none, the food & service in the restaurant, coffee shop, & bar were all up to the same excellent standard.

The jewel in the crown for this hotel is definitely the staff.Efficient, helpful and friendly from first thing in the morning until last thing at night ( sometimes the same staff).Other than that the hotel, although somewhat tired as are many of the older hotels,it is clean, bed was comfy, plenty of hanging space and drawers even in a single room.Plenty of plug sockets and mirrors, tea and coffee making, good shower always hot.One downside was room was very hot so don't know what it would be like in the height of summer.A fan in the room though so if you can put up with the noise that's an option.Reasonable bar prices for a hotel.

We travelled to the imperial hotel via Dashias holidays. The hotel is very clean the bedrooms likewise. We had half board and we found a decent choice for Breakfast and dinner. We could not fault this trip. My mom hurt her hand and we had to go to Eastbourne A &E. The hotel staff gave us a supply of food just in case we were there for hours (which thankfully we weren't). My 87 Yr old dad and 83 Yr old mom left there coats on the coach. Daish 's posted the coats back to my parents. We would definitely recommend the coach company and the hotel.

My partner and I stayed at The Imperial Hotel from 4th - 8th May, this being our 3rd visit. All the staff were friendly and professional.......A special Thank you to Elwira, our waitress, this lady works so hard and is a true asset to the Hotel.........Also Kristine the housekeeper, such a pleasant, hardworking lady who was always happy to help. The food during our stay was adequate, and well presented. Our Room 109 was small, but clean and had been refurbished......lovely Bathroom, only problem was, you couldn't open the window at all, and the Bedroom window only opened a little, so both far too hot......bathroom needs ventilation. Both my partner and I enjoyed our stay, good a**osphere too. The Hotel is ideally situated for the beach and town, with plenty of shops and a lovely pier too. Thank you to all at The Imperial, keep up the good work.

We were a coach party staying 4 nights at The Imperial. We paid £30 for room upgrade. There was a walk in shower, with toilet and both were adequate. It was on the second floor, room 201.There was a sea view. There was a double bed, which was ok but lumpy in places and there was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe.Plenty of drawer space. The floorboards skweaked a lot and the walls were very thin, you could hear snoring from next door. The meals were adequate, both breakfast and evening meal.Evening entertainment was fine and varied and the drinks prices were reasonable. All the staff were courteous and polite.Great location, close to the beach and shops. We would go again.
