Silver Ridge Ranch

The place looks like it has seen better days. We booked on-line and stayed for 3 nights and never did see any staff around the grounds. The office, lodge and store were closed. Seemed like it was running on auto-pilot. Just not very welcoming.

One of our favorite family trips ever. Great fun for kids and adults. The lodge was spacious and comfortable with lots of room to spread out. Lots of games and Disney movies in the rec room. The great room was so comfortable with spectacular views. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were amazing. We rented snowmobiles nearby, which they delivered and picked up with no issues. Lots of room to ride right from the lodge. We also got a toboggan for hauling kids around. The kids favorite part had to be the snow bowl for sledding. It was so much fun we can’t wait to go back again next year.

I had booked a group camp ground for an event that I was attending / hosting. When I booked, I talked to the sales person, and several times after that I was as I was trying to coordinate things. I was told, that if they booked a wedding, me and my group might not have access to everything at the ranch, such as the "Ampitheater" or hall. This wasn't an issue and I understood, had no qualms. We had a few other ppl make reservations, some folks made reservations in town to attend our event. Then, I call to ask a question and was told that the Ranch had "booked out" for a wedding and "would not honor our reservations". I have no idea when they booked the wedding, and have no idea when they would have told me, or waited until I showed up if I hadn't called. Bottom line, this place chose not to honor their word and demonstrated to me that they are not on the level or trustworthy. Several of our members lost money with reservations in the area that were non-refundable. I will not try to go there again, and will actively look to share my experience.

My group of close friends (6 adults, 7 kids) had the best weekend at Silver Ridge Ranch. The location was super convenient, the grounds were stunning, service was excellent and rooms were very well appointed. Every detail was considered and the main Lodge is beautiful! Highly recommend for any group looking to spend quality time together in a gorgeous setting that offers tons of kid-friendly activities, communal spaces and comfortable private rooms. Not to mention the stunning barn to hold large-scale events! We will definitely be back.

I can not begin to say what a wonderful experience we had here! It was my kids first time in the snow so I was a bit nervous but Silver Ridge Ranch and their team did everything to make this a perfect experience. Everyone we interacted with there went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had a great time. The lodge itself is gorgeous. The rooms are so comfy and decorated beautifully. The layout was also ideal for a family of four! It was designed perfectly so that when you need some space you have a perfectly appointed room, but when you want to be with friends you have great and comfy common areas to enjoy. It was so warm and cozy! Then the ground are stunning. The views of the mountains are unbeatable! And there were so many activities to do for everyone without ever leaving the Ranch. We will be back for more winter fun and I'm already planning a trip to see it in the summer too!

This is my opinion. I wouldn't share but I think a warning is warranted. The Dome is to hot to occupy at all until at least 5pm. So what you get for your $150 is a bench surrounded by a ton of camp sites right next, trash on the ground, space not swept out and a long walk to the toilet. To top it off, the door, that faces the other tents, is clear so, no privacy. Just be prepared and all will be well.
