Response from Property: Dear Kevin Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback after staying with us. We are sad to hear that you did not find it as a pleasant experience, but thank you for mentioning our clean environment, wifi etc. I just need to state that we are a bed and breakfast establishment and not a hotel, so we don't have staff 24/7, they leave after their shifts are done. On weekends reception is not open for the whole day, we have certain hours that reception is open and someone is on site for that time, but if there was not a check in time arranged before, we do make use of the option for guests to notify us when they arrived, as the owner 's son just lives across the road from the guest house and it only takes him 2-3minutes to get here to check guests in. Week days we are here from 6:00 in the morning to 19:00 on site for people checking in and arrangements are made when guests check in later then that. We apologise that you were under the impression your taxi to the airport was "forgotten", not sure how this was arranged, but usually it is booked with reception directly or via email or the booking portal you booked accommodation with and I couldn't see this request . I was advised that this request was communicated with cleaning staff and this is where the misunderstanding came in, but we were able to sort it out for you on the same day once you communicated with reception and the driver was here the next morning as requested. I understand that not everyone feel R250.00 is a preferred rate for an airport drop off, but by booking with our driver you know that you are receiving a service from a reliable source, Uber is always another option that is cheaper, but sometimes there is the risk that they cancel trips and this might delay you. We do have dinner service available Monday's to Thursday's , but over weekends we assist guests to order in, most of the guests use uber to go to their preferred restaurant if they want to go out for dinner. For breakfast I believe we have a big variety of options to choose from: Coffee, tea fruitjuice, cereals,yoghurt, fruit, toast, coldmeat and cheeses and for warm breakfast we have bacon (chicken or pork), eggs (you can choose : scrambled,fried, poached, french toast or an omelette), mushrooms,tomato, baked beans, sweet corn, sausages (chicken, beef, pork or cheese grillers). You are not limited on what or how much you can order and the continental section with the cold options is a self-help section. We believe that preparing the warm breakfast as per order ensures the best quality of the food, where with a buffet setup, food might sit a while before someone dish up for themselves.
