I had a corner room on the 5th floor with great views of Edinburgh castle and the hills in the distance. Complimentary drinks and snacks in reception between 5 and 6 pm. A handwritten welcome back card on arrival. I had been there the week before. Very comfy bed and nicely equipped kitchenette with nespresso machine and capsules.

Great location and a nice hotel. However, there was still a t-shirt from previous guests in the closet and some small plastic bits from clothing and a bottle on the floor. They were good at following up to see if we were satisfied with the room and the cleaning. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel, clean room comfy bed and quiet hotel. I found the room just the right size for a short stay, perhaps a longer stay with more luggage it would have been but tight. Neat and tidy to communal areas. I’ll be staying here again. Happy hour is a very nice touch.

Room was quite small but very thoughtfully laid out. Bed was extremely comfortable and the amenities were good quality - Molton Brown toiletries, GHD hairdryer and Nespresso coffee machine. The complimentary drink at 5pm was a nice touch. The only downside was the lack of breakfast in the hotel itself. However, we had a good discounted breakfast at The Huxley and a 50% discount at Castle Terrace car park.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Clean, tidy, lovely reception staff. Nice coffee machine and great facilities in the room.
