This is a great hostel, perfect for solo travelers. The female dorms are very safe, and the toilets are separate. The front desk service is also excellent. There's a restaurant and bar downstairs, and a church right outside, making it very convenient for getting around.

Very good location and very convenient for getting around. The toilets and showers were clean, and the locker was surprisingly spacious and easily fit a large suitcase. A big plus was the free luggage storage, both before check-in and after check-out, which was really convenient.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the Royal Mile, with St. Giles' Cathedral just outside. The room was also very clean. The hotel organized many free social activities, which was a great way to meet people.

Perfect location, with all the attractions and departure points for excursions nearby. The staff is very friendly. The hostel offers many activities. The bed is comfortable for me (I'm 180cm tall). If you're significantly taller (2 meters or more), it might be a bit uncomfortable. There are several spacious shower cabins. You can leave your luggage before check-in. The locker in the room fits a large suitcase. I recommend visiting.

Absolutely fabulous location right in the middle of historic Edinburgh. Easy luggage storage (I arrived early). A free beer during check in. Super clean and comfortable bed pod with everything I needed in it (charging plug, hooks and shelves). It felt private in my pod. Bathroom facilities were spotless with excellent showers. And had a delicious breakfast in the cafe in the AM. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only drawback is that fellow sleepers seemed to be up and about a few times in the night (dorm door made a noise closing) so sleep was a bit disrupted by this but overall it was still a good stay.

During the Edinburgh Festival, hotel prices across the city skyrocket, so I was really pleased to snag a capsule bed here. It's in a prime location, right behind St Giles' Cathedral, and stepping outside puts you right in the middle of the Fringe street performances. The facilities, environment, management, and service inside are excellent, and safety is well-managed. Even though I booked an 8-day stay in a mixed dorm, everyone was respectful, and travelers were very considerate of each other's space. The downstairs bar and restaurant offer great value for money, with guests receiving a 15% discount. The food and drinks are high quality. The only downside was the mattress, which was too soft and made sleeping and getting up a bit uncomfortable.

Spotlessly clean linens and rooms, friendly staff. There's a bar on the ground floor, which can get a bit noisy in the evenings, but on the plus side, you can have breakfast there in the morning with a small discount for guests. The rooms have a large safe for suitcases/bags. The location is right in the heart of the old town!

This is a fantastic hostel, right in the heart of Edinburgh. The decor is really stylish, with a unique 'special prison' vibe. The toilets, rooms, and shower facilities were all impeccably clean. It's an excellent choice. I visited during the Fringe Festival, and it was amazing to step right out onto the main street, which was buzzing with a festive atmosphere. There were street performers and acrobats every day – absolutely brilliant!

The Position is supper convenient, just in the royal miles. And the service is supper nice and the amenities are fully equipped, even for the period pads they will provide them for free. Very good experience, except for some noices as it was located along the Main Street and 10 pods room, fair enough.

This hotel is truly fantastic! They offer 24-hour service, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The location is excellent, right next to St Giles' Cathedral and connected to the Royal Mile. The service is top-notch, and the facilities are comprehensive – everything you could possibly need. You'll only understand why it has such high ratings once you experience it for yourself.

Me and my partner stayed at the Code Pod - the court. Wow, we absolutely loved this stay. We had never stayed in a hostel style hotel before, and this exceed all expectations. We loved that it was in an old court house and each room was unique. We loved it explained about the room. It was super unique being modern while also keeping its history themed. It was super clean and great amenities. The staff were super helpful and friendly. And the location couldn’t have been better, we had a day tour booked and didn’t realise the meeting point was right out side of our hotel, how easy !! Burgers and beer and the wing shop was also next door and they were to die for I’ve never had any food like it I would highly recommend trying these. Also if you’re looking for a fun unique bar with live music around the corner I’d highly suggest the labyrinth, it’s like a maze in the underground vaults. I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone looking for something unique, an amazing location, and friendly staff. The best of everything was so close. Wow, wow. In love with this hotel.

Stayed here for a night while as I had an appointment the next day in Edinburgh. They have a great lounge/working space downstairs and plenty of opportunity and space to work quietly or socialise. The actual pods gave you enough privacy and were quiet and clean. The bedding was clean and new (ignore the mess in the photo that was my fault haha)

Overall very good experience. Very clean. Staff are very friendly.
