Apartment was nice and cosy and had everything needed. only bad thing is the stairs if not staying at groud floor

It happened to be raining on the day we arrived. It was a 1.7-1.8 km walk from the train station. I was unfamiliar with the place and it took a lot of effort to find a hotel. This is a self-catering apartment hotel. The facilities in the room are quite complete, including cooking tools (pots, bowls, knives, forks, shovels, as well as salt and black pepper) and dining tables. It would be perfect if there is a washing machine/dryer. , the bed of about 1.5m is no problem for 2 people. The room is also large and the spiral staircase is very interesting.

I am very satisfied. I am amazed when I enter the room. The ancient city outside the window is like a painting. It is so pleasant to drink afternoon tea in the sun in front of the window! The room is very new, tidy and clean, the bathroom is huge, and the open kitchen is well-equipped. This is the most satisfactory place to stay in the UK. I want to stay another night when I return to Edinburgh from the Highlands tomorrow, but unfortunately there is no room.

The location of the hotel is easy to find, just the red door facing the street. The location is also very close to the city center. The room is the largest in the same price range, and the bathroom is also very spacious. I hope I can come and live again next time I have a chance.

Great apartment - excellent location quiet but not too far from city centre - very near bus/tram routes. It felt like a touch of luxury staying there - the bed was really comfortable and apartment was well equipped and furnished. A great break in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

Excellent place to stay for a short trip. The location was great to walk to the Castle and the Long Mile. Fully furnished with a fully equipped mini kitchen and bathroom . Definitely recommend this place. The only issue was noise from the traffic outside at night although it was a nice area to stay in.

Brilliant app couldn’t fault it. So easy to get around transport excellent. Very clean will definitely go back. So easy to book in and out. Was able to leave cases where we checked out. Answered all questions we asked very quickly. Loads eating drinking places. Castle about 10 minute walk. Trans and trains so easy and clean

Another fantastic stay at Haymarket Apartments for the last weekend of the 2024 Fringe. The booking process was simple and we were kept fully up-to-date as our stay approached. The apartment we stayed in was spsotlessly clear, really well furnished and equipped. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was terrific: very nicely laid out with high quality towels and products. We've stayed here before and will do so again - the quality and location were fantastic.

I think this is my 4 th time staying at Haymarket Apartments and my third time in Room 7. I keep coming back primarily because of the location and the consistency in the quality of the accommodation. It has always been scrupulously clean and is very well appointed. It has everything I need and more (washing up liquid, coffee pods etc). I like the fact that the bin gets emptied regularly and towels are renewed during the week. Although I usually travel solo the sofa bed means that my children can drop in for a couple of days if they are passing and the layout of the room means that we can all have some privacy. The bathroom is large and modern. Alistair is very approachable and always willing to help. I travel quite a lot and Haymarket Apartments is the standard by which I compare all other properties. I hope to stay again in 2025.

We stayed in room 6 and there was everything you needed in the room. Kitchen came with all the appliances you will need including hob, toaster, coffee machine, kettle. Bed was really comfy. This apartment building does not have a lift so be ready for stairs if you are on the top floor. There is a safe place to leave luggage and you are given a separate code to enter the building after/ before your check in/out times to store luggage. You are given a code to your room a couple days before your arrival, this works for the duration of your stay. You are central to a range of pubs/ cafes/ cake shops. A short walk to the tram stop which will take you to the airport £7.50( much cheaper than a taxi which will cost £30) and the tram will take you to waveley train station aswell. Trams are every 7 mins. You are a 15 minute walk to the city center. Go across waveley bridge, up cockburn street- turn right for the castle and turn left for Holyrood park and Arthurs seat. You are spoilt for choice with bars and restaurants. Plus your local sainsburys, nisa and costcutter on the same street of the apartments if you dont fancy eating out every night. Really enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend.

Great location tram and buses close by. Restaurants and bars all around the area/ The apartment was a studio lower Ground and it was perfect. Quiet location. Twin beds, towels, even tea, coffee and milk was there on arrival. The place is clean shower is very powerful and hot was fantastic. No problems with self Check in. Great communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to spend a week. We were in Room 3, the largest, and it had everything we needed. There are many restaurants in the area. The Palmerston across the street was fantastic. I would walk to the center in the morning in about 20 minutes, and then usually spend the afternoon in our area. It is not far from the Water of Leith footpath, which is a good place to get away from the noise of the city.

The apartment has everything you need for a short stay. We stayed in room 3 which is huge with a separate bedroom and large bathroom. The kitchen area was had everything you needed from coffee maker to microwave and stove. The decor is beautiful from light fixtures to the comfortable sofas, bed and bedding . Location is great! We walked to the apartment from Edinburgh station in 25 minutes, with luggage and a child at a nice pace, taking in views of the city. I actually prefer this location to the centre of town. Near the apartments, there is a huge variety of restaurants and many different cuisines. There is an M&S 5 mins walk away as well. Will definitely stay here on our next trip !
