Halcyon Hotel

Awful from arrival to leaving. We arrived and stood outside for a while before we were let in. Old man with a cane told us to stand at the chair while he got our keys. No welcome what so ever. The room was tiny and in bad need of upgrading. It was also tiny with hardly any room to move. It should have been a single room and not made into a double. It had tea and coffee making facilities in the room but no cups only glasses. No tv but it does tell you that. The shower head was broken and the water sprayed out sideways so we couldnt have a shower. When it was reported the member of staff looked as if he couldnt care less. Breakfast choice was terrible. We ended up with cereal and toast. No cooked food on offer except a hard boiled egg! We left and went to the Wetherspoons around the corner for a fry up. On leaving the staff member took our key without a glance. No thank you for your stay or even a goodbye. A very poor place that has the potential to be so much more. It was one of the cheaper places to stay but dont waste your money. I would gladly pay a bit more to stay somewhere else

DJ from Serbia on the rooftop was phenomenal! He was on top of everything and extremely helpful with all requests. This individual is an asset to your brand and will be successful in whatever he reaches for. Mitch
