The breakfast was good, and the decor and facilities were quite new. It was a nice touch to have a bottle of drinking water in the room. The only downside was that I noticed some yellow stains on the sheets and informed the front desk to change them, but they didn't.

This hotel is really close to Edinburgh Haymarket station, just a five or six-minute walk, which makes getting around super convenient. You can even see Edinburgh Castle from the hotel, and the surrounding area is quite lively. As an InterContinental hotel, the rooms, though not huge, are clean and tidy, and the breakfast is good too.

The location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Haymarket Station. The service was also very good, with complimentary slippers and free water. Breakfast was a decent English breakfast.

Everything was great – the staff were enthusiastic, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the location was very convenient. A big plus was the small window in the room that could be opened for fresh air, which is much better than a fixed window. I requested a high-floor room when booking, and I was very happy with the room the hotel assigned me.

The hygiene and environment were excellent, very clean, and the staff were very friendly. However, during my stay, one of the two elevators broke down, and guests even got stuck inside. This led to long waits during breakfast rush hour, as the single working elevator stopped on almost every floor. Furthermore, I paid a 30-pound deposit upon check-in, and it still hadn't been refunded to my account a month later. After emailing them, I was told it was a system error and that the front desk needed to manually process the refund, which would take another 5 business days. 😓

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; they even gave us some of the hotel's signature candies. The room environment was decent, though the twin beds were pushed very close together with almost no space in between.
