my room is right next to a construction site. every morning at 7am, there’s construction work, non-stop, it’s super noisy and very dusty, the dust and dirt were everywhere if you opt to open the window. but if you don’t, the room can get really stuffy at night. the air conditioning is way too warm and we cannot tune done the temperature, it went up from 24 to 27 after we switched it on for 30min. We have no choice but to switch it off and opened the window. the noise from the construction site woke us up every morning, it’s quite annoying and disturbing furthermore, the luggage storage service is not safe at all, no one guards the luggage and they didn’t even give you a tag, no one knows if others will take your luggage

Facilities: Excellent and thoughtfully designed. Though compact, they are incredibly well-equipped, which is quite impressive for an international location. Cleanliness: Spotless, truly on par with the high standards I expect back home. Environment: Impeccably clean and well-maintained throughout. Service: Superb, and breakfast was included. Overall, the service quality is genuinely outstanding, easily matching the level of Marriott Group hotels in China.

The floor is too thin, the sound of people walking upstairs is very obvious, the sound insulation is not very good, and I found out after checking out that the previous guest‘s socks were not cleaned under the bed.

Rooms in Edinburgh are generally not very large, and after comparing many options, this one offered good value for money. It's a bit of a walk from Princes Street, located in a quieter, slightly more secluded area. However, having a supermarket right outside the door was incredibly convenient. The cleanliness was decent, with daily housekeeping. My only suggestion would be for them to provide a 'Do Not Disturb' sign, as housekeeping tends to enter rooms without knocking, which can be quite awkward.

This is a chain hotel with a consistently modern design and is spotlessly clean. Edinburgh is quite compact, so the city center is just a convenient 15-20 minute walk away. My only minor gripes were the very basic desk (just a simple board) and the rubbish bin, which was a bit too small and flimsy. It's highly recommended, especially if you want to avoid the exorbitant prices of those centuries-old, often overpriced, historic buildings. Great value for money.

The location of the hotel was great. You can walk to everywhere for sightseeing. No parking lot.

Quiet place with excellent soundproof windows, though occasional footsteps from the floor above can be heard.

This hotel had a great location and an excellent breakfast the Stafford kind and everything was very clean .

Had to cancel here unfortunately as my girlfriend fell sick. The hotel were unable to refund as it was last minute. I’ve heard good things about this hotel so didn’t wanna leave a bad review just a bit annoying they couldn’t offer me anything in return.

Good size room and was clean. The downside was that there was no free water or fridge in the room. Also if you want to iron your clothes you have to go to another room to iron as there were none in the room. There's a Tesco express less than 2 minutes away. Edinburgh town centre is around 15 minutes away and so was Edinburgh castle.

It is a Moxy! Preferred flooring without carpet. Since there is carpet then bedroom slippers should be provided - but they did not provide. Hence minus a star for me.

Cleanliness was mid. Rather unfriendly staff. Hotel faces construction site - awaken by noise at 7am every morning.

We had an amazing stay at Moxy. The lobby is great, with loads of board games and reasonably priced drinks and meals. The room was also really good, with good soundproofing. I was afraid that the automatic bed light mentioned in other reviews would bother me but not at all - it only lights up if you get up, not when you’re in bed. Would stay again!
