The location is incredibly convenient, with a bus stop right next door, making city access quick and easy. The staff are friendly and the large bed in our room was incredibly comfortable. If you don't want to go far in the evening, you can dine directly at the hotel's bar and restaurant. Their simple beef and chicken burgers are finger-licking good and pair perfectly with a beer. Prices are reasonable, and the hotel breakfast is also quite good. My partner even asked if we could stay another night! 😄

We attended a rugby match at Murrayfield Stadium so this hotel was perfect for us. After a lovely full breakfast we didn't need to rush away as we had a 5 minute walk to the stadium. And the same coming back that evening. We dined at The Bothy, inside the hotel, each night, and it turned out to be the ideal option. The hotel room was quiet and comfortable and we had an extra bonus of having a door open up to a terraced area.

A great place to stay away from the centre of Edinburgh but easy to access and near the beautiful Leith waterway. Breakfast was excellent.

Had a lovely stay! The location couldn't be better, and the complimentary parking just behind the hotel was a huge plus. Everything was convenient, making the overall experience very enjoyable. Would definitely consider coming back!

Very good stay, the room was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. I recommend it.

On arrival at the Hotel most of the car park was taken up by a pre show party. After asking at the door was told by a very unhelpful man to park further up the bank. Not very helpful when you're not from Edinburgh. After check in , which was very efficient. The room was very small and could do with some TLC for example paint coming off window frame and tears in the curtains, it was clean. When we ventured out to the bar we were told all the tables had been booked and basically had to stand at the bar in the hope that a table became available. After a discussion with the manager who said they weren't able to inform us of the party because of the company used to book the room. We were told however that the chef would leave something cold for us as the kitchen closed at 9. When we did get a table we waited half an hour before anyone asked us if we wanted to order food. When the food did arrive we had to send one of the meals back as the jambalaya didn't have any sausage in it. Very small even when it was replaced. The lads and lasses on the bar were excellent and the breakfast and the service for breakfast were also very good. Overall perfect location for Murrayfield but like most of Edinburgh it's very overpriced for what you actually get . Based on our visit and our room I would not consider this a 4star hotel and the lack of communication was very poor across the board.

Booked for staff business trip, they said this was a lovely place with nice comfy beds, they said the location was great and they even asked if i could book it again for them so they were clearly impressed.

Lovely hotel room. Small but comfortable. Brilliant breakfasts suitable for a Coeliac. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work in our room for the length of our stay despite us reporting it twice.

At breakfast it was irritating that sitting 2people on the bench it meant that to get toast etc the inside person had to get the other person to move. Also had to keep catching waiters eye to get more coffee. Lovely receptionists

Our room was in a separate building in the garden, which meant it was nice and quiet and we had our privacy. We really enjoyed our stay. The bus/tram stop was not far, making it easy to get into the city.

The hotel and its staff were excellent. They were always willing to meet your needs. The rooms were very well designed and clean, especially the bathroom. The location was great. You can reach Princes Street in just 25 minutes on foot. The bus stop was very close to the hotel. we could even say it was directly in front of it. By bus, you can reach almost anywhere in 10 minutes. The rooms were quiet and warm.

Super hotel, a geam. Proper Scottish luxury with a fantastic bfast

Lovely room, helpful & charming staff, and very accessible to the city center! We honestly wish we could have stayed here longer!
