A last minute booking as my flight was delayed and couldn’t make connecting train, everything was fine, bottom bunk a little short on headroom but fine for sleeping, everything clean but energy saving toilets often didn’t flush but thats just down to water power, Perfect location could’ve better placed with its own bar and 5 mins walk to train station and city centre

Room is tidy and cool. But there is no curtains for each bed just like the pictures showing. A little bit noisy, we can hear others talking outside the door easily. But the bar of the hostel is perfect. Karaoke was very interesting, fantastic atmosphere.

The accommodation was good. it was clean and the location was excellent. However, I was surprised by two extra charges: one for towel rental, and another £4 fee for a key to the storage locke.

Amazing price for a central hostel. Easy friendly check in. Staying in girls dorm bunks which had curtains. Unfortunately they didn't reach to the end so not as private as expected. No lockers in our room only cages under the bed and you had to pay for a padlock so didn't bother. Nothing got stolen. Everyone very friendly. Rooms basic but comfy and roomy. Showers and loos like indoor portaloos. Breakfast nextdoor was ok. Tasty and just enough. Thank you for a great stay.

Much beyond expectation! Everything is perfect. I’ll definitely choose it next time!

It’s so convenient and clean to stay in this property in Edinburgh. I have know that St Christopher is a chain in Europe but this is the first time I tried their hostels and it’s so good. Lots of toilets/shower rooms and right next to Waverly bridge. They even offered free bagge storage to us

Good location and friendly staff! Shower rooms were a bit dirty when I stayed but overall it was a nice stay as a solo traveler:)

Greate location in heart of centre near Train station and not far from Castle, easy to find reception almost opposite of Dungeon. Friendly staff. Clean and quiet rooms because in separate building from bar. Beds no creaking or wobbling with good privacy. Toilets/showers enough. Nice bar/lounge with wide choice of drinks and meal, not overcrowded. Lot of info. Cheap for expensive Britain.

Great location, rooms generally clean and tidy. You grt what you pay for. Only.things I dislike about it is there isn't much of a common area other than the main reception. Toilet and showers were clean just tiny.

Huge hostel right next to the train station. They run a lot of people through this place because it is reasonably priced which is the exception in Edinburgh. Location is good. The beds were above average but the hand dryers from the bathroom areas can be heard in the bedrooms an the trains can be heard during the day. They try to keep the bathrooms clean but it is a losing battle given the sheer number of people staying there. The bar that was attached had good food and reasonable drink specials. If you need budget accommodations in Edinburgh this is the place.

Big dorms but reasonable price and good location. Nice staff.
