We needed a pet friendly hotel and found this hotel. I am so glad that we found this place. I am a big supporter of the Choice Hotel group. The price was in our budget. We were given a ground floor room which was perfect! The room was nice and clean and our dog loved it there. We were able to park right in front of the patio doors to our room. The front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful. Right next door to the hotel is a great restaurant...Taste of Persia. They have a great breakfast menu. We will definiety stay there, whenever we are in Edmonton!

I liked the room that it had a tub in the bathroom and microwave and fridge as well. Very convenient for me.
Breakfast was self serve with choices of cold and hot drinks, lots of fruits, yogurt in the fridge, cereals and choices of bread with a toaster at the end of the counter. The dining room area is large and sunny. Relaxing atmosphere.
The checkin counter person was very helpful and at check out took the time to help me find my Wyndham membership account so I could earn my credit for staying there. Very pleasant experience over all.

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I had arrived earlier than expected and I was able to check in right away.
The King room had a great view of downtown Edmonton.
I enjoyed the business lounge access with evening aperitifs, the view of the city from the lounge and it was amazing to watch the sunset in the evening.
Having breakfast included in my room rates was a great addition to the booking as it was convenient for me. You can also watch the sunrise if you get to the lounge early enough to get a seat by the window while having your breakfast there.

Well, the valet & front desk staff were cordial, the room was quite small with a weird sliding window between the sink & the bed, the special big ice they encourage you to order doesn't fit in any of the glasses provided in the room...the room service was hit & miss...the workout area was absolutely AMAZING though...world class... The lobby bar is quite crafty/cold in winter...almost everyone had their coats on...the bartender was excellent! All in all not good value for your dollar...

Exceeded my expectations, exceptional stay. An email the day before my arrival highten my excitement about my trip. The hotel entrance is very spacious and grand compared to other hotels of this class. Check-in staff was pleasant and informative. As was the breakfast attendant. Rooms were comfortable and clean, meeting all of my needs. The price point is excellent compared to other area hotels. Will be my goto hotel in Sherwood Park.

Tub is built for small people, bathroom vanity for giants. The tub is pint-sized, about a foot high. I’m five feet tall and just fit. Tried to make the most of what amounted to soaking in a puddle, but couldn’t even do that as the plug wouldn’t hold water. Asked at the front desk right away about a room with an adult sized tub and was told all rooms were the same. Staff acted like they could care less. Bathroom vanity counter was higher than normal, by quite a bit, so even washing my face was a challenge, again, from a five-footer. The bathroom mirror was mounted another foot above that, so I was glad to see a wall mirror by the window which I was able to use for makeup application. The next day tried the shower which wasn’t much better, very low water pressure. I’m guessing this is an older hotel that was somewhat updated. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Air con worked well. I like to be a bit pampered when staying at a hotel, and this was not that. At the very least, a nice soak at the end of the day isn’t too much to ask. Won’t be back. Too much money for a low end hotel.

GGigi_leungWe have a short trip to Edmonton visiting our friends.
We liked the location and the underground parking.
The room and bathroom were clean. We liked it the bed is big and room size. My son love watching out with the big window with the little couch.
However I think the breakfast end too early. It closed before 10am. we are on vacation and sometimes don’t want to rush.
I think it will be better to extend til 11am.
GGuest UserBest hotel experience I ever had. This hotel has well-maintained rooms and facilities. You know that when something smells clean, it is really clean. This is that hotel! Warm breakfast is great with lots of choices. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Kudos to the management and staff!
CCHANConvenient locations to get around. Good for business staying.
Hotel made an error to charged my credit card for the rooms that I already paid Trip.com. After checked, the front desk said it has been fixed without room double charges. I will check later when bank statement received.
XXIAOOnce again, the location is good, that is, the square is now being repaired, and the surrounding roads are not so good. His bed is awesome, that is the feeling of sleeping and not wanting to get up.
RR PAugust 2024 This is my second time staying here, it is conveniently close to West Edmonton Mall being approx. a 10 minute drive. I got a family room that had two king beds and a pull out sofa to have my daughter and a couple of her friends have a birthday sleepover. The room was very spacious with two tv's and a partial wall that divided the two bed area's. The waterslide is a fun option for kids but the pool is not very big so kids that come down the slide end up smashing in to kids trying to swim. It is not a good pool for swimming, more so just for the fun of the slide unless it's not busy. Both of the times I stayed here the pool is way too overcrowded. We ended up leaving this time because of obnoxious kids without any parent supervision getting very pushy on the slide and in the pool. The breakfast that is included is decent. There is a good place to have supper just across the parking lot called the Homefire Grill.
YYUCHENAfter checking in, the hotel charged two extra room charges because of communication problems with Ctrip.com and checked out 5.12, which has not been processed so far. Excellent location. It's easy to go anywhere.
RRossChristineI have stayed at this hotel twice now while visiting my Mom and it has been very clean, the staff are super nice and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was simple, not the best but it was fine. It had toast, waffles, cereal, hard bed eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and a couple of hot items that I did not eat. I like the fact that I can go for a swim in their pool which was very clean or walk over to Denny's for a bite to eat and get 15% off.
过过The location of the hotel is not bad, the room is relatively large, each bed in the twin room is 1.5 meters, and parking is free. If it is not enough, it should be that the hotel is relatively old. Fortunately, the rooms are clean. In addition, North American hotels generally do not provide slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Nothing else is lacking, overall satisfaction.
I endured 2 nights but would not have stayed longer. The last time I was here was my prom night in 1984, and it really does appear that is the last time they upgraded. Dingy, worn - just bonkers with all the bizarre rock features throughout the place and I think used to be lush and green - perhaps running fountains? Just dead and out of place now. I had a bunch of heavy luggage and thought I had scored a good parking spot near the door. nope, you go in and end up on trek through dingy, narrow and winding hallways. There IS an exterior door close to my room - I tried to get in and my key card wouldn't open it despite showing a green light. I later investigated from the inside -it was padlocked shut. The room is dingy, smells like cat pee (although I'm sure that isn't it). I have a great view of the dumpsters across the way, and they put me RIGHT by the elevator, There is on ice or pop machines on my floor, nor could I locate them. There is an inhouse restaurant but no room service. Just as well, as the only living human being I encountered said the restaurant was overpriced and the food absolutely terrible. The bed is as hard as a rock - but the pillows are comfy I'll grant them that. Whole place feels a bit twilight zone - I barely saw a living person. Oh, and don't forget the super sketchy industrial door out onto my super sketchy balcony. I have a suspicion that was someone else's soap in the shower as it was two unwrapped bars, but I can't say for sure. I didn't get any housekeeping - apparently you have to specifically ask? I'd rahter spend the night in the Twilight Zone tower of terror.
