Stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. Good location, near to the centre of the town. The room is clean. Simple breakfast is provided.

Enjoyed our short weekend stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They guy suggested places that we could go for a walk, places for cambio/SIM card and restaurant recommendations.

The hotel is a log cabin with plenty of hot water. When it is heated, the floor is heated and you need to manually adjust the control switch next to the sink. The breakfast is good and mate tea is also provided. The best thing is that the hotel can report various travel routes by itself, which is very convenient.

It is very close to the center, and it also has a side market. The receptionist Andrea is super friendly and professional, she gave us a lot of advice on what to do! Highly recommended ~

The charming building is a bit of a facade, with character but rather empty. Rooms appear to be built quickly and have thin walls with not much to the interior, no TV, and one usable outlet. The wifi was fine and towels were nice. The bed comforter gets hot during the night. Reception was nice and the cafe was a nice touch. There are good restaurants nearby.

The Glaciar Libertador provides more of a "cabin - hostel" vibe than that of a proper hotel. The cleaning ladies were polite and keep the place in a decent shape, but the hotel doesn't make you feel very welcome. Reception is matter of fact, breakfast is decent but serving rather stingy portions - you need to make effort to get a decent serving of scrambled eggs for example. As such, the hotel is rather overpriced for what you get. As a traveler and guest I'd prefer to be left out of politics. However, the hotel's prominent support through its window display for Israel (flag + sign reading "we stand by Israel"), that so far has murdered over 30.000 civilians (70% women and children), made my stay rather uncomfortable. Knowing it's a rather "polemic" political topic that perhaps has no place on tripadvisor, considering that it was the hotel's decision to take a clear public political stance, I also feel that it is helpful to share here for those travellers who wish to take an informed and conscious decision on whether to stay here. I certainly would have wanted to know before booking online.

Price gouging tourist trap. Pay for a hotel but get a flimsy hostel. Location is good. The breakfast was better than average and the woman working in the restaurant is a hero, but had no help. Overall disappointing. Avoid unless everything else is booked.

We checked in online the day before arrival. When we arrived, the receptionist didn’t find our booking so he accused us for coming to wrong hotel and advised us to search for the correct one. Extremely arrogant behavior. When a colleague of him found our reservation, he wouldn’t admit any mistake.

The staff was excellent, and very helpful. WiFi was fine, no problems for us the whole time. They provided breakfast, ask for some eggs!! If you needed a box lunch, they were able to provide that as well, affordable. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes from Main Street. My only issues were the beds, for us they were very hard and don't be afraid to ask for additional pillows. Finally, it is summer and there is no AC in the rooms, which is probably normal. ( The floors are heated) Great showers, we had en suite bathrooms. Very affordable for the location, they helped us with our tours and getting the bus from there to Puerto Natales.

Hotel located close to the center, small rooms and very small sink/shower. Simple and repetitive breakfast. Exaggerated price for what they offer. In the center of El Chalten there are better hotels and at the same price (expensive), away from the center there are very good hotels at a good price (cheaper). I do not recommend this hotel

They sold it to us as a 3-star hotel. The reality corresponds more to a hostel for Backpackers, with double rooms, very basic, with bathroom. There is no TV, no telephone, no thermostat (unbearable heat to sleep). Deteriorated and low-end furniture, 90 cm beds. Safe closed and in an inaccessible place. We asked them to open it and they said when maintenance would come (never).
