The resort and staff are awesome, the wedding department staff, not so much. We had a great time and enjoyed getting away, however, we were under the impression that we would be there to plan our final wedding details out, taste cake and see linen and things but none of that happened. We had to ask for a coordinator to met with us and we were told nobody was available until our last day at the resort. we were walked all over the resort to view the different spaces. we did not get to see the ballroom which is where we are actually having our reception. At the end of the tour we were told that we would do the cake tasting and everything when we return for the wedding. Who wants to still be tasting cakes and deciding on things the week of the wedding? had i known that, we would not have booked the pre-planning trip. We were also told that we could email or call if we had any questions or changes. I have been emailing and calling since we returned home but I have not gotten a response. Being the bride, this gives me lots of anxiety and I am unsure of whether or not I want to continue with having my ceremony there, maybe just turn it into a family vacation! I still love the resort and will go back any day, just not a fan of the wedding part at this point.
