Best Hotels in El Montsia

Lovely hotel/apartments. Very clean in all the main buildings. Lovely outside area, pool could do with clean. Mind you, it is March, so only the very brave or silly would go in it. The surround of the pool has a few sunbeds, but plenty of other seating. Beware, there are no kettles in the room, and none are held at reception. The coffee machine takes the little coffee canisters. Takes ages to try and make a cup of tea. We ended up using a pan to boil water for brews. A kettle in the room would be a good idea. Especially in the apartments. The bar is lovely, all staff are very friendly and will help where they can. We haven't tried the food yet, so I can not comment on that. Parking is underground with limited spaces. This is via side road on the right past the hotel. There is a petrol station across the road, a big supermarket and a LIDL nearby. They close 2100. We didn't see any open restaurants nearby apart the one in hotel. Loads of little extras in the room, toothbrush and paste, cotton wool pads and buds, razor (use at you own peril), shoe horn, shoe shine sponge and a little pack of cotton, needles and buttons.

We booked this hotel without really knowing anything about it as a stopover on our roadtrip in Spain. What a great find!! The hotel itself is in beautiful grounds, palm trees, beautiful bougainvillea, orange groves, its a little slice of paradise (and this was in mid January!) The pools, surrounded by lawns and gazebos looked very inviting, but were a bit chilly despite the 20 degeee January sunshine. The receptionist was welcoming and very nice as was our lovely, well equiped room with a beautiful terrace with a view of the garden and surrounding mountains. The lounge areas were tastefully appointed and the open fire (burning orange wood?) made for a cosy evening backdrop to enjoy some wine and tapas. We slept very well and enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning, with some of the best breakfast buffet food I've had. Its a five minute stroll through the orange groves and olive trees to the coast, which has some stoney beaches, and a nice walk into town (8km there and back). All in all a really great find. Highly recommended, just wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Hola ,yo he estado en agosto y para mi es un hotel para parejas con niños pequeños, estaba lleno de niños, a mi no me molestan pero se centran todas las actividades hacia los niños, la piscina era muy pequeña para tantas personas y pocas amacas. A las 12 era la hora de jugar a waterpolo o a voleibol en la piscina y ya era imposible bañarte. El bar de la piscina muy deficiente ,pedías una cosa y te traían otra ,yo pedí una bebida y me tragieron otra y le dige que me la cambiaran y no querían cambiarla y me tuve que enfadar para que me la cambiaran.la comida poca variedad y muy repetida. Las actuaciones no hay sólo animaciones para niños por eso teníamos que salir del hotel. Lo único que me gustó fue la habitación que estaba limpia y las instalaciones que siempre las mantenían limpias. Para mi le sobran estrellas, he estado en hoteles de 3 estrellas y han sido mejores que éste de 4.

The hotel is a great choice, with a price adjustment, rooms with cleaning, space and amenities, and a great TV of quality. The room is very comfortable and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the price, simple but more than correct and with all ready for CoVi19 measures, with distance, maximum cleaning and food protection. Location in the centre, 5 minutes from the port, the center and the restaurants.

The warm and professional service and the thoughtful facilities do not meet the internal quality of the hotel. What I want to say is that my husband did not get more in return, and I think we could not pass when changing all the impressions. We ate very well, awesome Corvina estuary and huge grilled Sigri La Litas, so we repeated the dinner plate 3 times. The breakfast used to insert PEGA is not what we like, so we are pretty sure that we will return without a contract breakfast;)
