This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish, offering the worst service we've ever had. Upon arrival around midnight, there was no one at reception. The phone number provided was also not working. After 40 minutes of struggling, another guest luckily provided a number that connected us with staff. After check-in, we immediately pointed out that our room was not as pictured in the booking and it was half the size (8 instead of 15 square meters). We were told it was just for the first night, but the next day, the manager insisted it was correct despite our showing her pictures and descriptions from our booking. Even when higher management admitted the pictures and descriptions on the platform were wrong, they offered no apology, change of room, or refund. The room itself was awful: tiny, old, stinky, and the bed was damp, smelling of old wet wood. The “garden view” was just a view of a busy inner yard. The shared shower was old and water smelled like rusty iron. To top it off, the staff were incredibly rude. Their mistake cost us time, money, and enjoyment. We checked out four days earlier and requested a refund, but the host refused, “according to their policy”. In summary, save yourself the trouble and don't book this place in El Nido.
