Hilton Garden Inn LAX - El Segundo Reviews

I booked this hotel for a layover in Los Angeles. They offer a free airport shuttle, but be aware: there are two Hilton Garden Inns near the airport. For *this* one, you need to call the hotel for a pickup, whereas the other one doesn't require a call. After collecting your luggage, head to the 'hotel parking' area and look for the red sign. Call the hotel, tell them which terminal you're at, and provide your name and phone number. They'll send a car to pick you up within 15-30 minutes. (Initially, we got on a Hilton Garden Inn shuttle at the red sign, only to find out it wasn't the correct hotel when we arrived!) Bottled water in the room costs extra, but there's complimentary iced water available in the lobby. There's also a small convenience store. Rooms don't come with toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. About a 10-minute walk away, there's a commercial area with an In-N-Out Burger and a 7-Eleven. Remember to book in advance, as prices tend to increase closer to the date.

The room was spacious and clean, and there was a welcome message. Thumbs up!

Friendly staff and good location

Good, just prices on trip.com for add on services are not updated. I was charged $15 for breakfast and $30 for parking. On the app it said $12 and $25, respectively

The hotel offers an airport shuttle. Just call them when you arrive, and they'll arrange it. For your return trip to the airport, simply book a time at the front desk. The room was spacious and came with a fridge and microwave.

I was very satisfied with my stay, but the airport shuttle service was not great. It's a shared shuttle with a few other hotels, so it picks up people from several locations before dropping them off, which means a long wait. If you can't reach the shuttle by phone at the airport, just call the front desk and they'll help notify the shuttle to pick you up.

During the stay was super great as soon as I arrived, the desk clerk was very helpful and kind with her smile. Answered all my questions politely, the location was great.

The room was pretty good, but not perfect. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant smell. The windows couldn't be opened, so there was no way to air it out. When I called someone to check, they claimed there was no smell. However, the staff were very understanding and moved me to another room. The second room had no smell at all. It was spacious and very comfortable. They also offer an airport shuttle, but you need to book it in advance. Don't trust them if they say to just show up; if you don't book, even if you go down 15 minutes early, they'll tell you to come back in 45 minutes because no one else is waiting.

Parking on-site but $25 per night, easy and friendly check-in. The room was a bit dark.

We erroneously booked the wrong date. We asked them to reconsider when we arrived a day late, but they didn't allow us and told us to contact trip.com instead when it's their prerogative to decide.

Right beside the K Line Metro. No establishments around the area.

The Hilton Garden Inn is very close to the LAX airport. It provides free shuttle to the LAX but needs to book in advance. We had a good stay and would recommend to other travellers.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Its location is fantastic, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, offering great convenience for daily needs and getting around. The hotel provides a free airport shuttle service, and it's also quite close to Long Beach for excursions. Overall, transportation was incredibly convenient.
