10/10! Amazing food service & atmosphere!

This is such a great hidden gem. Only a quick (less than 10minute drive) from the beach town of El Tunco. If renting a car, there is safe parking available on the Casa Maya property and parking lots for a fee ($3) at El Tunco. The Casa Maya staff, including the parking attendant Luis who helped bring our bags in, were very kind and helpful throughout our whole stay. The check in process was quick and easy! Once inside our room, it was very beautiful, well kept and very clean. You can tell they maintain the property. Additionally, the views of the pool and restaurant overlooking the water are breathtaking. There are many lounging chairs, couple hammocks, and couches to relax on. There is also a cool cave you can explore on the property and swimming areas, but be mindful there are many huge rocks. Breakfast served was traditional Salvadoran platters but also included other options such as pancakes and crepes. The drinks were also delicious and the wait staff were very friendly. They do offer lunch and dinner, but we did not have a chance to try. There are also many great restaurants to try nearby, including Betos (highly recommend). Lastly, this resort does offer additional amenities such as massages, surf lessons, and tour to Santa Ana volcano! Be sure to ask and check it out.

Very cool place. I 100% recommend it. Easy parking, good breakfast, excellent location close to many touristic attractions. This place is right on the beach & there is a cool cave that you can visit. There are tons of lounge chairs to enjoy sunset and relax by the pool. We had a great time and wish we could stay longer.

Casa Maya was such a cute beachfront stay in El Salvador. The location right on the beach was beautiful and made for such a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable overall and we enjoyed our time there. There were a few things that could definitely be improved the shower bathroom area could’ve been cleaner, and some of the pillows and sheets had stains on them. But aside from that, we still had a good experience and loved the beach vibe of the hotel.

We have an excellent stay! Room was nice and clean and the location was perfect right on the beach.

1. Very rude guy at the entrance - barker (in colorful shirt), who cares about parking perfection more than guests. 2. Got stomach bug after taking shrimps there 3. There is no towels available on sun beds 4. Pool looks dirty / greeny 5. Rooms are small with shared terrace, so forget about privacy. 6. Room service enters even when you place ‚do not disturb’ sign at the door.

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice sized refrigerator. The food was pretty good and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The views were the most amazing and we will definitely come back to stay!

I have an allergy a red swollen eye I found a shrimp tail in my pork the pillows are rocks the room is nothing like the pictures the rail is rusted the staff is slow and unfriendly they are scarcaativ I waited almost 2 hours for two soups I asked for like they did not have I ordered a coconut they did not have I order three hamburgers they had no hamburger bread the pool was sort I have pics of all of this I left before my second day and demand my money back at least for the day I was not there

The view from the room was nice, the staff very friendly with an exception of one person named Luis who introduced himself as the manager. He wasn’t professional making comments out of place.
