This hotel is smaller and for the more discerning guest. The level of service and attentiveness here is second to none, and the staff are so friendly. Nothing is too much and if there is anything that can be done to make you happy, then rest assured that it will be. This is a fantastic outstanding hotel.

I would have given this review 5 stars had my ipad not disappeared from the room. The hotel is lovely and the staff very nice. We have stayed in other hotels on site but this is by far our best experience. I left my mini iPad on the bed and it’s gone presumably swept up with laundry but how it’s not been located I do not know as surely 2 days on it is ample time to find and now I leave without my iPad. I don’t think it was stolen at all as my son has a far better one than me…I do think it’s been an unfortunate but for me expensive and inconvenient mistake so please take note….don’t leave things on the bed assuming staff will notice!

Arrived here with my little boy for a 3 x night stay and as soon as I arrived , greeted by the reception team ( Laticia Javier and Marc ) with a positive and friendly smile .and nothing was to much for them to assist . Had a fabulous time and the hotel( with only 31 rooms ) lived up to its expectations in terms of attention to detail and not overcrowded in comparison to other neighboring hotels. The restaurant staff were fabulous and a special thanks to Irene who was so helpful and nothing to much . Highly recommend this hotel and will be re- booking for next year without hesitation. Well done to the hotel team who made it so special and great ambassadors for the hotel !!

Staff were really nice. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and well equipped. Pool was clean and very comfy loungers and shaded areas. The hotel itself so cute and the uniforms very in keeping with the theme of the hotel. Would highly recommend. Would stay again. We were two adults two kids.

If I could award a six, I would. I cannot rate this hotel and its entire staff highly enough. The service is beyond five star with a fabulous concierge service via WhatsApp, amazing restaurant and bar staff and excellent housekeeping including a wonderful turndown service. The food in the restaurant is now only on a three night rotation which is a shame if you’re staying for 7 nights as we were but I think we’re in the minority as most guests seem to only stay for a few nights. The Lucy Express pass made a huge difference to our stay but even if you never set foot inside the parks, Lucy’s Mansion is definitely the best hotel you’ll stay in by a mile. Absolutely wonderful experience and I can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so enjoyable.

A special treat visit whilst visiting Salou and a great all round experience. A wonderful check in with a very helpful and welcoming lady made us feel very special. Very different to our experiences at other Portaventura hotels. First impressions of the building and of the lobby were great, with a lovely chandelier dangling from the ceiling. Premium express bands on and bags stored (these were taken to our room automatically when the room was ready) and off we went. So glad we had the passes, we literally walked on everything and no way would have wanted to queue in the heat for 2 hrs a ride. Informed room was ready by text at 230pm and proceeded back to the hotel. The room was nice and spacious and the victorian theming felt very special. Nice large bathroom with separate bath and shower, as well as robes and slippers. A nice bottle of water to greet us....as well as chocolates during the turn down service later. We hopped in the pool and were the only ones in there for a while, so felt like our own VIP pool! It's not huge but it is relaxing/quiet and has a lifeguard especially for it. We had half board so ate in the hotel and grabbed a nice outside table with a view of the pool. We had some gratis pink cava and then ordered some lovely drinks. Food was great including some ravioli, salmon and steak and all was lovely. Kids food was also great. The only slight negative was the language barrier with some of the waiting staff but all good in the end and all were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast the next morning was also great, although the bacon (like many hotels) was not the english kind :) Lovely eggs and sausages and fresh meats, fruit and cheese though! We were sorry to have to check out. A cut above experience.

First let me say that we travel a lot. My comments are coming from years of global travel experience and I do not enjoy leaving bad remarks, especially when the hotel has a lot of great qualities. I am saying there things to help actually. Hopefully you can take this as constructive criticism to improve things. I have never stayed at any hotel with the walls so thin. We could hear every single thing happening in the room next to ours. We heard them talking, snoring and walking. We even woke up to their alarm on their phone all 3 nights of our stay. We had to call the front desk several times because they were up until 1 or 2 am talking and we couldn’t sleep. There are ways to add soundproofing and I really think it’s time to consider doing it because it’s ridiculous how thin they are. Also, the mattress was horrible. The pillows were even worse. It was like sleeping at a cheap motel. There was no way to adjust the pillow for comfort. We slept terrible and woke up with aches every morning. The front desk said they used to have a pillow menu but stopped because of Covid. How the heck does Covid affect a pillow option? Sounds like an excuse to me. There should be a pillow menu back in place by now. The furniture is old and worn out. There are water marks because it’s not commercial furniture that can withstand lots of use. The lighting in the room shouldn’t even have passed inspection. I’ve never experienced this low level of lighting in a room. I have perfect vision and I had to use my flashlight to read the hotel brochure at night. No lie! One of the lamps was broken in my room, but even if it worked, it wouldn’t have helped much. All the lightbulbs are yellow, low wattage, and on the perimeter of the room. There is no lighting in the center or above (from the ceiling). Again, I have never been to a hotel room that didn’t offer lighting from above. The room needs to have a few recessed light fixtures installed with LEDs so people don’t feel like they’re in a bat cave. I understand that the theme of the hotel is supposed to be ******* and eerie, but there are ways to achieve that while still offering sufficient lighting . The bathroom sink was clogged and unusable. I didn’t bother to report it because I didn’t feel like having someone come to my room to fix it during our stay. I forgot to mention it on our way out, so I’m doing it now. I highly recommend that you stay overnight in this room (#2021) to see for yourself. It’s unacceptable to have people pay such a high price for such a low quality of accommodation. On the other hand, service was very good. They offered us welcome drinks upon arrival and everyone was pleasant. The restaurant was also nice and the food above average. The lobby and decor of the common areas was very well thought out and felt authentic.

We stayed at Hotel Mansion de Lucy with a family for a wonderful weekend in PortAventura. The hotel is very good, probably the best in PortAventura. Good location, nice rooms, and friendly and caring personnel. We liked our stay a lot and will definitely return upon our next visit to PortAventura.
