Fantastic hotel, excellent service could not fault the staff, rooms very nice and clean and spacious and the view from our room was amazing, wish we had more time here as 2 nights was not enough. The breakfast is great and whilst eating you have a wonderful view of the immaculately kept gardens and the most beautiful back drop of Little Adam’s peak and Ella Rock. Special shout out to Priyantha who took great care of us during our stay.

One Of The Best Hotel In Ella Great Service. Best Food 😍 Friendly Service 😍 Highly Recommend ♥️ Room Experience is the best . Same as We are in a Train 🚆 very beautiful view .I was happy about this hotel . I'm recommend every ones to come here and enjoy.

This is the best hotel we stayed at during our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka. The room was fantastic, the views stunning and the service superb. Particular thanks to Sanjewa who looked after us for 2 days, but the whole team are amazing. Old world charm meets modern expectation. A must if you stay in Ella. Tony & Madaleine

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. Our room was a family room and we didn't have a view, but when we booked, we were told that. The rooms with a view must be incredible. We booked directly with the hotel as it wasn't clear on booking websites that you could get a family room. The hotel itself is a little tired and could do with some investment. However, the location is to die for. The view is amazing. The best thing about the hotel apart from the view was the staff. They were really helpful and took such pride in their work. I have to say both the manager and Priyantha stood out in particular. We have stayed at a number of hotels in Sri Lanka and the service levels have been very high but the staff at EKHO Ella were hands down the best. Thank you

We had a lovely time at EKHO Ella although it was shorter stay than we hoped for. We were very happy with service provided by the staff. Dinesh, the guest service manager, was especially helpful by arranging a cooking class with the chef that we requested at short notice. We throughly enjoyed the class. All the meals were wonderful, especially the curry dishes.

An overall very good experience staying at EKHO Ella. Incredible view of the Ella gap could be seen from the property. Walkable distance from most all of the restaurants and amenities Ella has to offer. Room was a good size and eccentrically themed around the famous train ride. Everything was clean. Pillows were soft. Mattress was hard, which is common for Sri Lanka, good if you’re into that. Staff were enthusiastic to help with carrying bags to and from room. Special shout out to Priyantha for always checking in and arranging a heart with flower petals on the bed. Minor points off for shower taking a long time to heat up and not having great pressure.

Like every review Ekho is perfectly situated in the middle of it all with an outstanding view. The hotel is charming and the rooms quirky. However, there were a few hiccups that dropped the star rating. We called about a week in advanced to confirm there were driver's quarters available during our stay. Although they confirmed there would be, upon arrival they informed us there was no space for our driver. With little to no solutions offered we paid for him to stay elsewhere. We also found the price to be quite high especially as compared to our other stays. The hotel also lacks a swimming pool which seems like a missed opportunity. Overall we had a good experience but I can't see us returning :(

The mountain view was breathtaking. Rooms were clean and unique with comfortable beds and pillows. Delicious food.Staff were very attentive. Dinesh guest service manager, Udesh residential manage and Priyantha went clean out of their way to make our stay a happy one. Thank you so much for your kindness. We wished we stayed longer. We highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely come again. Thanks again from us all, Nalini and rest of the family🩷

Outstanding location, views and beautiful gardens - growing their own veg and herbs. Quiet part of Ella overlooking the Gap. Rooms clean & adequate. Slippers & robes provided. Only thing lacking is a pool! Staff friendly and helpful albeit service a little slow.
