Emei Shan Lan Yu Zoland Hotel

The hotel boasts a beautiful outdoor landscape with a 'wabi-sabi' aesthetic. The rooms are clean, and the hardware is excellent. They provide Le Labo toiletries, and the service attitude is very good. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The only downside was that the 'bacon with rice' dish seemed to use a synthetic rice called 'panda rice' (possibly a brand name or a specific type of rice). I hope they can improve that.

This hotel is exquisitely tasteful and pays great attention to detail. Nestled among the mountains and forests, it boasts centuries-old Phoebe zhennan trees. From the manager to the butlers, the service is warm and meticulous. I particularly loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Definitely worth experiencing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which made our three-day, two-night National Day holiday truly enjoyable and relaxing. Every staff member greeted us with genuine smiles, making us feel very welcome. The housekeeping team was incredibly responsive, handling all our requests promptly. Two main highlights of our stay truly stood out: first, the dinner prepared by the Michelin-starred chef (a rich culinary feast), and second, the diligent shuttle service that took guests to nearby attractions, making our outings convenient and quick. Although the daily room rate wasn't cheap, the added value was exceptional. We've even started planning our next vacation here with our children, and we anticipate new culinary surprises on the menu next season!

Choosing Lanyu Hotel for our Emei Mountain trip was absolutely the smartest decision. It’s exactly the healing, Japanese-style hotel I was looking for, distinctly different from a typical guesthouse. Our stay of several days was incredibly relaxing, and we received meticulous care. The hotel arranged a business car for all our transfers within the scenic area and even helped us organize a guide. When it rained, they provided umbrellas and even prepared ginger tea. While other hotels might simply fulfill requests, the team at Lanyu takes service to the extreme – there’s nothing they haven't thought of or can't do. Everything was excellent. Many thanks to Manager Ma, Butler Xiao Yang, and Xiao Deng. Location: Superb location, halfway up Emei Mountain, very close to Qingyin Pavilion – a true oxygen bar. Facilities: Smart toilet, hairdryer, very comfortable bathrobes. Service: Authentic breakfast, high-quality dinner, free minibar drinks, high-quality afternoon tea, and free-flow coffee – truly amazing! 👍

This trip was definitely worth it. The hotel is located in Zhongshan, Emei Mountain, just a few minutes' drive from Qingyin Pavilion. They even offer a shuttle service to the Qingyin Pavilion ticket office, which is very convenient. What truly captivated me was its Wabi-sabi inspired decor, subtly integrated with nature. Old wood, cotton and linen fabrics, and travertine create a comfortable texture. The overall design feels both rustic and modern. The use of stone and dark colors blends perfectly into the serene valleys of Emei, providing a truly relaxing and expansive experience, whether in the misty rain or during the blue hour of evening. The whole place has a lot of character. The facilities are also excellent, with Dyson hairdryers, quality toiletries, and comfortable bedding. Dinner exceeded my expectations, being both exquisite and delicious. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic, and you could feel their dedication to their work.
