Emeishan Leidongping Xinlongmen Boutique Hotel

Pros - Workers were friendly - Room was simple but clean - They also function as a restaurant in the first floor, and the pricing was the best one in Lei Dong Ping. Twice cooked pork was especially delicious and the 2 servings of rice was large and made us happy lol Con - We had to lift luggage up 3 flights of stairs for our room on 3rd floor; could be inconvenient if you can't lift

The room is reasonably clean given it is deep inside the Emei Mountain. There is still some walking distance from here to the cable car station to the Jinding. Therefore, if you plan to watch the sunrise at the top of Jinding, you need to start walking to the cable car station early in the morning or you'd better stay at a hotel at the top of Jinding, which will be 2 to 3 times more expensive. The cable car system starts operating around 20 minutes before sunrise. There are many dining choices around the hotel. You may be able to see some wild monkeys around the area.

Room was clean. Constant water pressure and warm water for shower. No cigarette smoke in the room. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would have been better if there was a table to place the haversack/luggage, and bottled waters provided. Overall, still a reasonable stay.

Perfect location! Right at the bottom of the gondola station. Got up at 4 and made it to the sunrise at Mt Emei! Loved it!

Hotel provided heating floor but without drinking water and without toiletries. There is a wake up call service to view sunrise around 5am. It is a hotel within a shop selling warm clothing, it is quite noisy in the morning.

We had a pleasant stay. The owners were welcoming. The hotel is ideally located for taking the cable car to the Golden Summit or for going to the bus station to go down the mountain. The room was clean. The photos are flattering, but the hotel is still nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful The location of the hotel is just right in front of the scenic bus terminal. .

Good location. The room is comfy. There is a morning call for an early bird at 6.20 a.m. to walk up the hill or take a cable car.
