Emeishan Gelaiya Resort

Had a hot spa but in the end we didn't use it as we spent all our time out. It's not a hotel as such, more apartments within a complex. It's interesting for sure. Breakfast was OK but don't forget, if you're going up Emei mountain you'll be leaving before breakfast, or at least you should be. Room was sweaty at night.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel, but the experience was really disappointing. The place didn’t look like a hotel at all — more like an apartment complex next to a retirement home. The advertisement promised a mountain view, but our room faced the retirement home instead. The photos were clearly photoshopped. The listing also showed a nice resort area with cafés, but when we asked the staff, she told us it is not available and it under work . At around 12:30am, we were woken up by really loud banging and heavy footsteps for almost an hour that was the one thing about this hotel that made me really disappointed .It scared us and made it hard to sleep. The next morning, breakfast was very limited, and we even saw cockroaches near the food, which put us off completely. Overall, the false advertising and the poor experience left us very upset and disappointed

The room is big. Close to baogao temple and tourist center. More like apartment complex
