Enping Defu Light Luxury Hotel

The room was clean and tidy, which was a pleasant experience.

The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The price was very affordable, excellent value for money. Parking was convenient and free, making travel easy. There are many restaurants nearby, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

It's really nice to have a hotel like this in such a small town. The location is super easy to find, the environment is great, and the room has good lighting, clean and hygienic [strong]. There's even a restaurant downstairs, so you can wake up and go for some dim sum – perfect [grin]! Plus, there are plenty of bubble tea shops, snack stores, and supermarkets nearby, which makes it incredibly convenient and awesome [wow]! Excellent value for money - ̗̀(๑ᵔ⌔ᵔ๑)

I booked a twin room and arrived at the hotel at 11 PM. After checking in, I entered the room and was hit by an overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke, so strong it felt like multiple people had been chain-smoking. It was so nauseating I felt like throwing up. There were even a pile of cigarette ashes in the toilet that hadn't been flushed. I asked the front desk to change rooms, but they said the hotel was fully booked unless I paid extra to upgrade to a suite. The price they quoted for the suite was even higher than what I saw on Trip.com, and since it was a king-size bed, I didn't take it. An hour later, sitting in the lobby, I saw several people checking in, so the hotel clearly wasn't fully booked earlier.

Everything was great, except the soundproofing was just so-so.

I was on a business trip to a factory in Enping, which is quite rural. Luckily, I found this hotel nearby with decent reviews (though honestly, there weren't many other options). When I arrived, it was indeed pretty good. The location is right on the commercial street in Shahu Town, directly opposite a dim sum place. Just a short walk away, you'll find a wet market, restaurants, snack shops, dessert shops, and fruit stands – basically, everything you need. It's super convenient. The hotel itself is clean, tidy, and relatively new. The front desk staff were also very pleasant and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the air conditioner's position in the room; it blows directly onto the bed head. At night, I had to set the temperature quite high to avoid catching a cold.
