Overall, we liked the hotel and the property itself is very nice, but unfortunately there are a few reasons why we would not stay again unless these issues are fixed ASAP.
The main issue was safety. The room access is through a code, but the code was printed directly on a wooden card. That means anyone who has stayed in that room before could potentially know the code. We also tried locking the room from the inside and couldn’t. There was no extra latch or safety lock on the door, and when we asked the employee about it, he said “no one would do that.” As a group of women traveling together, this felt very uncomfortable and unsafe, and we ended up putting a barrier against the door at night just in case.
The second issue was the pillows. They were extremely uncomfortable and very high/thick. We all woke up with neck pain and ended up using clothes as pillows instead.
Lastly, the sound insulation is very poor. You can hear everything — conversations, noise from neighboring rooms, kids crying late at night, etc. Sleeping peacefully was difficult.
This is a nice property with a lot of potential, a continental breakfast might improve the experience abit. but these issues really need to be addressed ASAP for guests to feel comfortable and safe.
