Ryad Watier & Spa

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Watier. As soon as we walked through the door we felt at home. It is a wonderful space, beautifully decorated and comfortable with a fantastic roof terrace. Location is perfect, central but slightly tucked away, so very quiet. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful and all the staff are wonderful-special mention for Fatiha who could not have done more for us. We booked a hammam and massage which was also amazing. All in all, a very special place-I was sad to leave and would love to go back for a longer stay.

Oh my word, what an incredible place! Gabriel and the team were incredibly welcoming, I could have just stayed in the Riad talking to them all day. A wonderfully decorated place, full of art…all of which had history and meaning to Gabriel. I was gutted I didn’t get a photo with him before I left, but I will be returning one day. They are all so helpful for tips of where to eat and drink, and just general chit chat. The breakfast was amazing, and Nezha was lovely, a highlight of my morning. The room was huge, and again decorated with such care. I can’t wait to return.

A beautiful and impeccably kept Riad in an excellent location in Essaouera. Fatiha and the staff were so helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was amazing every morning.

This was a lovely Riad in an exceptional town where I regret not spending more time. It was clean and the location was very nice. Wish we had spent more time on the roof top which did have a slim view of the ocean. The highlight - Fatiha! She was the kindest soul.

I am so glad I chose Riad Watier as my final destination for some RnR after a hectic tour around the country. I was in the solo room which was beautifully decorated, scrumptiously clean, with added extras such as hair dryer and free Wifi. I felt completely safe and pampered. It was compact but plenty of room for one person. The staff especially Fatiha and the owners, were a wealth of knowledge and made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was plentiful and f=varied each day. The rooftop area very private for some reading & relaxation. I also treated myself to a massage which was wonderful. I will be recommending this amazing riad to friends & family

Absolutely delighted by this Ryad. Location was quiet despite being in the heart of the Medina. Breakfast was excellent. Very bright clean rooms. Excellent staff. An oasis to relax in. Lovely upper deck with lounging area. Highly recommended!

Such a lovely riad in the heart of the medina set on a quiet street. Big beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean too. The most friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast each morning. All round a great place to stay!

A beautiful Riad in the medina of Essaouira. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The delicious breakfast gets served on the rooftop. I can recommend this also to solo women travelers, as it’s very safe and centrally located.

Fabulous location in the heart of Essaouira with easy access to a multitude of restaurants, cafes and shops and within an easy walk to the beach, port and ramparts. Ryan Watier is stylish with lots of interesting art and artefacts, lovely communal spaces and is spotlessly clean. Our room was large, very comfortable and had a charming terrace. The all female staff were so helpful especially Fatiha and Hyatt who were an invaluable source of help and advice. Breakfast was beautifully fresh and included fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs anyway, pancakes and fresh bread served in a rooftop room. Adjacent to that was a lovely terrace available for sun bathing weather permitting. Used the spa for a hammam which was a brilliant experience
