Vom Einchecken bis zur Abreise hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfreich. Das Hotel liegt auf der Margarethenhöhe, was der Umgebung durch die Architektur des frühen zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts einen außergewöhnlichen Reiz verleiht. Wer Ruhe in einem netten Ambiente sucht, trotzdem nahe am Puls der Großstadt wohnen möchte, findet hier genau das richtige. Wir können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Lovely & Authentic German Experience Quaint & lovely with an authentic German clement combined with modern touches - in a lovely garden district suburb of Dusseldorf in Essen - built in the early 1900’s. Great for walking

BEWARE! Between ******* and Mintrops there is a 2 tier price. We booked well in advance. We thought we were getting luxury room because of the nighty rate of approx. $340. When we got to our room, it was very normal room,1bed and a small balcony overlooking a parking lot. I checked with the desk to see if we had the right room. They said yes. I asked the current rate.. $128 a night! Shocked, I called *******. They were responsive and refunded their portion $200 for 2 nights

We had the perfect suite for a family of four, large double bedroom, second bedroom with double bed sofa and a two part bathroom with shower and separate bath. For the adults the breakfast was fine but for the children it was missing the basics. We didn’t try the restaurant in the evening but it looked very popular and was busy most nights we were there. The location was fantastic and parking was easy, right outside in the market square, also free. Would highly recommend a visit.
