One of our favorite places and it was a beautiful drive to find it. Things were quiet because it was off season but it didn’t matter. We had a choice of rooms and the breakfast was delicious. Our hostess was wonderful! A place full of history and remnants of days gone by. We were directed to a family run business for dinner which we enjoyed thoroughly!

This mid-1800s property is charming to the extreme. Many of the furnishings are surely original, and beautifully maintained. Off-season it was nearly empty, but the proprietor made sure everything was smooth.

A lovely place. A traditional building, restored from nearly scratch. Very well decorated. The breakfast was perfect. Lovely staff. The swimming pool very clean , the perfect size. The hotel away from big places but 10 min from everything.

This is a very rustic property. If you enjoy antiques and the wonderful original architectural details of the past, this is a great choice. The rooms are austere. I enjoyed the original shutters, tiles and iron fixtures. Very nice common areas. The location is very rural, so great for a quiet getaway. Due to the economic situation caused by the pandemic, the restaurant is now closed. We were under the impression that this property was a winery. It is not. It was at one time, but only lodging is available. The poolside area has solid internet and the gardens are lovely. The mattresses are extremely firm. This property is an affordable option and you can use it as a base while exploring the countryside, some hiking and some wineries. Bring your own soaps and shampoos as the bathroom amenities leave much to be desired. Overall satisfied with our stay, but we do prefer a bit more luxury. Still, would come back.

Rural Monte da Rosada is an absolute must for anyone who is interested in Hotel business. The wine property was converted some 20 years ago into a charming rural hotel (in the best sense) and is today a gem. It has found its own solutions for service, welcoming and caretaking and those solutions are different. Forget the standard slick and streamlined treatment, expect instead real people giving their human touch. The rooms are relatively small and basic, the pool area excellent and the social areas are very good, furnished in local and traditional style. This comment is written after my second stay in the Arcos village, near Estremoz

Lugar muito agradável recomendo, muito calmo e sossegado. Os quartos são muito ao estilo do alentejo com todas as comodidades, a zona da piscina é extremamente reconfortante. a localidade (Arcos) é uma aldeia muito pacata, mas muito perto de Estremoz.
