I usually stay at this hotel unless I'm camping when I visit Eureka Springs. It always has great service at the front desk, a really good breakfast, and rooms that are easily accessible from the parking lot. When I packed for my trip, I expected the same rooms and amenities that I usually get. This time was different. It was still a good location and provided a clean room except this is the only time I've been put around the very back on the very top floor and couldn't easily load and unload my suitcases from my car. The elevator was broken and I had a heck of a time finding my way around the winding floors of the building. Not only that, but the main reason for choosing this hotel was the hot tub and indoor pool. Both were closed for maintenance. The door to my room also did not seal well and I had to make sure it was pushed in physically in order to make sure the top lock would lock correctly.
I had a wonderful breakfast and a quiet night. It was still a nice get away.
