The White Horse Hotel and Luxury Shepherds Huts

Just arrived home from a one night stay at one of the most beautiful places.... A Shepherd's hut. From start to finish it was a truly tranquil stay. We had dinner bed and breakfast.. Last night's dinner was lovely and our sleep was good too. We didn't use the hot tub but next time we will! We woke up to an amazing view of the pond and fields beyond. Breakfast was also very good and staff were friendly at all times which made us feel at home. We are definitely going back and looking forward to taking friends with us to enjoy the experience we had. Don't hesitate to go and you will feel a relaxed time. We drive for nearly 2 hours to get to this pub to meet up with family. We think it is a lovely pub with great food, especially the honey and mustard chicken! We went here for a very special Birthday and Peter, Alina and Conner made it extra special which really meant a lot to all of us. Thank you very much x.

We had our Christmas lunch at the White Horse. The food was ecellant and high quality. The staff were fantastic and gave a great service with nothing being to much to ask. Will definitely be returning next year.

We had a two night stay in one of the shepherds huts , we stayed in Cedar. The huts are lovely with a fridge, kettle and a small stove that we cooked jacket potato in , may be a toaster and microwave would be be a nice addition . The huts were clean and very warm , we used the Japanese wood fired soak tub , easy to light the fire and keep it going ,ended up getting very hot , totally enjoyed it , the privacy is perfect , all done with a lot of thought and to height specifications was lovely to sit in the evening with a drink around the fire pit , an extra bounce breakfast in the pub was included in the stay extremely good breakfast , we eat in the pub on our first night good food at a fair price . A great week had .

Convenient parking right outside our room and very friendly welcome. Lovely large room, spotlessly clean and a huge comfortable bed. Quality biscuits and tea making facilities. Fantastic walk in shower. There was plenty of storage and it was easy to adjust the heating. Good WiFi. Dinner and breakfast were both outstanding. Only wish we could have stayed longer to sample more of their dishes.

Sometimes you have such a great experience somewhere you return a year later and are bitterly disappointed. CERTAINLY NOT AT THIS PLACE. Another first-class Sunday Stopover, have tried on quite a few occasions to book recently without success now understand why. Brilliant stay everything exceptionally great, accommodation, (lovely walk-in shower and good quality toiletries), very high standard of cleanliness, great food quality (especially the Coffee and Tia Maria Mousse), ample parking, great staff friendly and efficient. This stay most certainly represents great value. The effort shown by the Management and Staff alike to their guest’s comfort and satisfaction is obviously paramount and boy does it show. Would we stay again? most definitely and can’t recommend a visit highly enough.

Fantastic room/ accommodation, super clean and tidy, and really nicely finished, quality fittings and finish. Very nice breakfast too, and good value for money. Lovely stay.

Totally amazed at the comfort of the room , it was quiet spacious and the air con was most welcome as it was 33 degrees! I felt safe and very happy , parked outside my door, friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast , I will Definately be back and will reccomend to friends , central to all nearby Suffolk villages and towns , I loved it ..
