Good value for money. Delicious food and stylish villa interior.

Very beautiful, the lagoon is nice and calm. All the restaurants we have are great, especially Koen and Wok Society! Services is the best. Everything is flawless!Lots of activities.

Amazing experience. The resort itself was like a pandora box filled with surprises. I instantly felt the positive and good vibe once I stepped onto the land. Both the exterior and interior design showed respect to the breathtaking nature of the original island. LOVE the natural materials used in the designs, the wood, the leather, the marble, etc. But what makes it more special is the staff. EVERYONE is passionate about their jobs and the island, and they all genuinely care for the guests! Six star service! LOVE the style and amenities too!

Great hotel

We just returned home from Patina. Overall, I really enjoyed everything. I can confidently rate the hotel a 9.5/10. I'll start with something other than the hotel itself. Our hotel essentialist was Daria (Ria). We've been to many good hotels in the Maldives, but this is the first time I've encountered such attention from someone who is dedicated to the guests' stay every day. There was no sense of fuss, everything was under control, and any requests that arose were resolved in just a few minutes. This is truly a case where a significant part of the vacation experience was shaped by a specific person. Thank you so much, Daria! The food at the hotel is excellent: a large variety of restaurants to suit every taste. My personal favorites are Helios, Fari Beach Club, and the food trucks. I never got tired of the food during my entire stay. The breakfast was also excellent and varied: a buffet featuring various cuisines. We stayed in a Sunset Beach Pool Villa and loved it. It was spacious, modern, and had a gorgeous view. I didn't appreciate the pool, though. It's very small, both in depth and size. Compared to the hotel and the villa, it could have been much better. The open-air bathtub in front of the villa is also a questionable decision. Regarding the ocean and the reef: this is really important. Our villa overlooked the reef, not the lagoon. There were waves during our stay. It wasn't rough, just normal, clear water. I really liked it. On the other side, directly across from our villa, were the Beach Pool Villas. The water there is much calmer, which is a big plus if you're traveling with small children. But to me, the lagoon feels like a large, still pool; it doesn't feel like the ocean. Regarding the reef: there's no reef directly in front of the Beach Villas; you have to swim to the outer edge of the island, where it's quite beautiful. If you're primarily going for snorkeling, you should choose the Sunset Water Villas. This didn't bother me at all; I just love swimming, wading into the water on the sand without water shoes or coral underfoot. The island itself is large, but there were hardly any people in sight. I first saw hotel guests on the beach on the sixth day of our stay. At breakfast, it was understandable that the hotel was busy (the villas and rooms were 95% occupied), but near our villa and on the beach, we felt like we were completely alone on the island. Their privacy and guest accommodations are simply top-notch. I don't know how they do it, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the island was ours alone. Again, a special thank you to Daria. You made our vacation magical. I hope we'll be back soon.

The service here was impeccable: friendly, prompt, and professional. We were delighted by the attentive butler service, and the restaurant's meals were delicious. While we sat by the sea, the restaurant constantly offered complimentary drinks. They even provided free sunglasses cleaning. I highly recommend the fishing trip. In the evening, as the sun set, our entire boat returned home full of passengers. On the return trip, we enjoyed a seat on the rooftop, enjoying the starry sky.

The view from the room is nice, but the beach quality is too poor, there are many small shellfish, which can easily scratch your feet. The staff at the children's park are very warm and friendly, and it is the first choice for parents and children and the elderly. It is not recommended for honeymoons, there are too many children, and it is noisy when dining and playing.

A memorable vacation

The design at Patina Maldives is a great mix of looking beautiful and feeling really comfortable. Our villa was set up perfectly, with a smart layout and colors combination that felt super cool and relaxing. Outside the room, the island is green and very well maintained. The beaches have fine, white coral sand, and having cool art pieces all over the island makes walking around is like a dream excursion. The food is just as amazing. Walking to breakfast quickly became our favorite part of the day; the buffet is huge, and everything always tastes delicious. You won't feeI missing home cause they have a great mix of cuisine from east and west. Also we really loved the afternoon ice cream treat truck—a perfect, refreshing flavour in the warm weather. But even with all the great facilities, the staff are what make this place special. You feel their warmth right away from the local greeting—putting their hand on their heart and bowing. They take great care of you without being too much. You never feel lost, since there's always a friendly face around when you need help. It's the small things that stuck with us the most: a nice chat over morning coffee, walking together by the beach, or the staff cheering for us while we played table tennis. The people here played a big part in our trip, and we will definitely come back. A special thanks to Ahusan, who helped us pick our dining spots and took great care of us; Hottensia, an awesome hostess who started our mornings right; Choris, whose real smile and warmth made breakfast so nice; and Meow, who spent his time cheering for us at the ping-pong table.

The design is low-key but tasteful, and there are plenty of restaurants with great food. The butler service was amazing — especially Jalle. Housekeeping was always timely, and the gifts and towel animals were such a lovely surprise.

I travel a lot and have stayed in many of the world's finest hotels, so it takes something truly special to surprise me. Patina Maldives did. We came as a family with our 7-month-old granddaughter, Nina, and with our friends` family with girls of 2 and 3 years old, and during all my years of traveling I have never experienced such genuine love and care for a baby. It wasn't polished luxury or scripted hospitality, it felt completely natural. Every member of the team smiled at my granddaughter, talked to her, played with her, and somehow made us feel that she mattered just as much as every other guest. Angelo at Fari Beach Village gave us another unforgettable gift. Sometimes he would take little Nina in his arms and wander around with her for a few minutes while we finished breakfast or dinner. Those moments may have seemed small, but to us they meant everything. They reflected a level of trust, kindness, and heartfelt care that cannot be taught, it comes from who people are. Safa and Dubby became our guardian angels throughout the entire stay. It seemed they were always there exactly when we needed them, often before we even realized we needed something. Thanks to them, we never had to think about logistics or little daily concerns. We simply relaxed and enjoyed every moment. To me, that is the definition of true luxury. Rony and Piu at Veli Bar made every beach day even brighter with their warmth and attention, and every interaction with the team felt effortless, genuine and deeply personal. And then there was the food... Chef Pema deserves a standing ovation, especially from Nina. Every breakfast felt like a celebration. Beautiful tropical fruits in endless variety, healthy and incredibly delicious dishes, and even the simplest vegetables were prepared with such elegance that I caught myself admiring perfectly sliced cucumbers before eating them. The steak restaurant served one of the finest steaks I have ever tasted - so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The Asian WOK Society restaurant? Outstanding. The Greek Helios restaurant? Equally unforgettable. As I write this review, I can honestly feel myself getting hungry just remembering those meals. One of the highlights of my stay was the Flow Signature Massage by Valentina. Without exaggeration, it was among the best massages I have ever experienced. There were also magical moments that no brochure can truly capture. One evening the team created an open-air cinema under the stars for our family. Sitting on the beach, listening to the ocean while watching a movie beneath the Maldivian sky, it was one of those experiences that quietly stays with you forever. Another unexpected joy was discovering contemporary art scattered throughout the island. As someone who loves contemporary art, this touched me deeply. Patina is a wonderful retreat with thoughtful, minimalist villa design. Natural materials, open spaces and beautiful ocean views create a very peaceful atmosphere.
