Stayed there for valentines, Nick upgraded us to a better room as we were a couple which was lovely. I had a tyre blowout the next morning and he couldn’t do enough to help. Sourced me another tyre and got us going again. What a gent - would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Nick was extremely helpful and made sure that everything was just right for us to enjoy our weekend stop-over in Leek. The Silk House is very well situated for all that Leek has to offer in terms of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. A perfect weekend and we will definitely stay again when we’re next in the area.

The place was very clean and suprisingly quiet, considering it was right in the centre of town a really nice hotel for the price.

We expected a lot more for the price...a few tins of paint would be a start,our bathroom as nice as it was smelled damp and mouldy
Generally the inside of the hotel could do with some tlc
Looked lovely from the outside but the inside is terrible....Premier Inn next time

Great hotel in the centre of Leek. It had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. A very friendly a**osphere and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely stay again.

We had a great stay. Nick was extremely helpful and friendly, understanding when we overslept and had a late breakfast. There is a real family feel to the place
