Molan Zen Riverside View Hotel

This is an excellent hotel, located in the middle-lower reaches of the old town, right by the Tuojiang River. It's quiet and comfortable. I just picked it randomly during my trip, and I was pleasantly surprised! The service was fantastic and very thoughtful, with a personal butler service always on call.

The hotel's location offers beautiful views, and the service was excellent. They arranged a shuttle to pick us up and drop us off at the light rail station. The lady at the front desk was also very beautiful and attentive, guiding us with directions throughout our stay. It was a fantastic travel experience.

Great value for money! They offer a shuttle service to and from the Hongqiao area, and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast was decent, but not very foreigner-friendly; there weren't many Western options. I saw a few expats who didn't seem to get enough to eat, only having an egg, some dragon fruit, and a piece of toast.

The concierge service was excellent! They were always patient and enthusiastic, whether it was helping with transportation in the old city, explaining attractions, or arranging hotel transfers to scenic spots. You could always see smiles on their faces.

Fantastic location, and it's nice and quiet at night in the lower district. A taxi from the high-speed train station was about 40 yuan and took us straight to the hotel entrance, saving us the hassle of lugging our luggage around. The hotel itself is very elegant, and the rooms are super comfortable. The river view rooms offer an incredible panorama – definitely take a stroll down by the river in the early morning to snap some photos. The river is covered in a beautiful, misty fog at that time, and the empty streets are perfect for pictures. The hotel is also very close to the Fenghuang Impression Theater, about a 10-minute walk, and they can even help you buy tickets. Overall, I was really happy with the location this time around, and I'd definitely choose this place again if I get the chance.

An excellent hotel! The front desk staff were wonderful and even upgraded our room for free. Stepping out onto the balcony, you're greeted by the beautiful view of the Tuojiang River, and sometimes you can even hear the boatmen singing. The breakfast was also good. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! ✌🏻

This hotel is conveniently located right at the entrance to Fenghuang Ancient City, downstream from the Tuo River. The service was excellent; the front desk not only offered free bottled water but also provided watermelon, which was incredibly thoughtful. They also have a complimentary shuttle service that takes you to the heart of the ancient city, Hongqiao Bridge. My only suggestion is that breakfast ends a bit early, around 9:30 AM. Other hotels typically serve until 10:00 AM, or even 10:30 AM.
