The room was incredibly spacious and clean, offering excellent value for money. The decor was also very pleasing, making for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was outstanding; I truly felt at home. It's conveniently located just a few hundred meters from the ancient city, easily reachable on foot.

This deserves a five-star review! The pick-up and drop-off service was thoughtful and punctual, saving us the hassle of traveling. The host was incredibly warm and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcomed. The B&B facilities were comprehensive and smart, providing an excellent living experience. The biggest surprise was having a wonderful chat with a young Miao woman, which allowed us to immerse ourselves in Miao culture – a truly special and enriching experience on our trip. This homestay will stay in my heart forever. During our stay, I became quite unwell, and the owner looked after me with a level of care and kindness I will never forget. I’m actually staying another night now, and writing this from my room! She personally took my sister into town to find the correct medications for me, helped ensure the dosages were right, made me hot drinks, cooked food for me, and regularly checked in to see how I was feeling!! She even went as far as ordering dinner for both my sister and me so we didn’t have to worry about anything while I was sick! This went far beyond what you would ever expect from a host. It wasn’t just hospitality — it was genuine compassion. We didn’t just feel like guests; we felt truly cared for. And my parents back home are so grateful!! The homestay itself is beautiful and perfectly located near the ancient town, but it’s the owner’s warmth, generosity, and selflessness that make this place extraordinary!! We are incredibly grateful and will always remember her kindness. Oh and we were also picked up from the train station right on time! It doesn’t get any better than that!! What a wonderful stay!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I cannot recommend this homestay highly enough!

This hotel is located upstream of the Tuojiang River, so it's a bit out of the way. However, the room layout was excellent, well-equipped, and quite smart. The lighting design was well thought out, and the space was quite large. Plus, the front desk lady was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and even upgrading our room! The only downside was that the price on Ctrip was a full 40 yuan higher than other online platforms.

the stay at fenghuang ancient city is amazing. we lived a street opposite the river to the entrance. need about 5-10min walk to reach the scenic point. but the reception, the lady and the uncle that gave us a free transport to railway station are really friendly and nice people. the room also equipped with smart toilet similar to the ones u find at Japan. truly a very comfortable stay in this city! we loved every day at this place
