Phoenix Xinsu Light Luxury Courtyard Homestay (Hongqiao Branch)

The property is very pretty with a lot of cactus. Will need to climb upstair a bit to reach there, but the view and atmostphere is worth the efforts. Recommend!

The owner was very friendly, and their cat was cute. The room was comfortable, and we appreciated having a washing machine in the room. However, drying clothes was a bit of a challenge, the humidity made it hard for anything to dry properly, so we ended up leaving with some laundry still damp. The shower also tended to flood a little, which might just be a drainage issue.

The place was clean, peaceful and the service was excellent. English speaking owner. I had the best stay while traveling for 2 weeks in China.

One of the best hotels we have stayed except for the discomfort of the location which is on top of hill. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. He single handedly helped us to carry 4 luggages up to the hotel! We were also given an upgrade and 1 extra room. Every time we came back from exploring the Ancient Town, he will prepare tea for us. The location was within walking distance to the famous tourist area. The rooms were big and clean. Overall extremely satisfied!

The owner is very helpful & supportive. He helped us carrying two luggage stepping up , equivalent to 3 floors level, to hotel and also do the same in the next morning when we checked out and accompanied us the taxi stand. The room is big & quiet including bathtub

Cosy modern and relatively newlooking rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with washing machines in the rooms. There is a brief hike up several flights of stairs, otherwise it was well located in a quieter area. We had a decent view overlooking parts of the ancient city, which was just a short walk away. Owner was hands on and very helpful, welcoming us with tea and showing us where to go.

I had the best stay in Fenghuang. Mr. Fu made me feel like at home, and he was very helpful at showing me the best spots to visit in town. The inn is beautiful, well located, and tranquil. The room was very spacious and pristine. Highly recommend the experience!
