This stay completely exceeded my expectations! First, let's talk about transportation. The owner personally arranged a private car service to pick us up and drop us off at the high-speed rail station, and even provided a shuttle to Fenghuang Ancient City from the guesthouse. Next, the rooms. Each room has such an elegant name, and they even come with a living room. The facilities are comprehensive, with all the equipment having a charming vintage style. They also offered afternoon tea, which included homemade walnut pastries that were absolutely delicious! Finally, for sightseeing, the guesthouse's travel butler was incredibly thoughtful and helped us plan our itinerary. We could ask them about anything – where to eat, what to do, and even how to buy tickets – and they gave genuine, unbiased recommendations, which was very reassuring. Booking this guesthouse was definitely the best decision we made for our entire trip! 😁

The room was massive, a huge suite, and the air conditioning was excellent, which was a lifesaver given how humid it was during the rainy weather. I have to commend the hotel's shuttle service – they were incredibly prompt, even coming to pick us up immediately in the rain, which I really appreciated. All in all, it was a great stay and I'd definitely recommend it.

I stumbled upon this guesthouse on Xiaohongshu, and the hotel environment is absolutely beautiful. It's about 800 meters from the scenic area, and there's a dedicated shuttle service from the hotel to the attractions every time we want to go, which is super convenient. The complimentary afternoon tea was also very exquisite. Originally, our booking only included shuttle service from the hotel to the scenic spot, but when I called, they offered us pick-up and drop-off service from the high-speed train station instead, since it was off-peak season. My daughter needed disinfectant wipes, and the hotel promptly bought some and delivered them to our room. When we left, the hotel even gave us bookmarks as a gift 🎁. The service truly goes above and beyond, and it's such great value! This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel nestled halfway up the mountain, highly recommended!

Traveling with kids, the biggest fear is often 'tired adults, cranky children.' This time in Fenghuang Ancient Town, we chose to stay two nights in a family suite at Xueqingji Cultural B&B on the mountainside, and it truly brought a huge surprise to our Fenghuang trip! Not only does it boast stunning natural scenery, but its spatial design perfectly addresses the pain points of traveling with children, making it the ultimate family-friendly getaway. **Family Suite Experience: Private Space + Kid-Friendly Theme** The suite offers fantastic private space. **Thoughtful Kid-Friendly Details:** The room was stocked with adorable children's educational toys and picture books, which was incredibly considerate. **Healing Natural Mountain Views:** The room has excellent natural light and views. Opening the window, you're greeted by lush green mountainsides, crisp birdsong in the morning, and air fragrant with the scent of earth. This feeling of 'mountain views from the window, secluded retreat within' truly allowed us to slow down. **Seamless Luggage Service:** The B&B's butler proactively helped us with our luggage and escorted us all the way to our room. The service was thoughtful and warm. **Warmth on the Tongue:** Every morning, we enjoyed a steaming bowl of Xiangxi rice noodles in the restaurant with expansive views. In the afternoon, there was exquisite afternoon tea – every bite was pure bliss. Located on the mountainside, the B&B perfectly avoids the hustle and bustle of the ancient town's core, offering a very quiet environment that ensured our child got high-quality sleep. However, if you want to explore the ancient town, the B&B's shuttle service to and from the mountain is very convenient. This 'bustling outside, tranquil within' location is ideal for a slow-paced family vacation. After two nights, our child had a great time, and we got plenty of rest, leaving us with the most beautiful memories of our family trip!

The hotel boasts beautiful scenery, nestled halfway up the mountain with incredibly fresh air. Our room was spotless and tidy, and we even received a complimentary afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service! There's a free shuttle that runs unlimited between the hotel and the ancient town. Plus, during this period, they offer free private transfers to and from the high-speed rail station, and they're always perfectly on time! It was a fantastic experience!!

Very friendly and welcoming staff, a great breakfast selection, and facilities that are truly unmatched. The hotel is conveniently located very close to Fenghuang Ancient Town and the river, making it easy to explore the area. They also provide unlimited shuttle bus services throughout the day, which is extremely convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend it.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, and all the staff are incredibly welcoming. The shuttle service to attractions is also very punctual. The hotel's environment is quite pleasant too; if the weather is good, it's a great spot for photos.

Nicely designed hostel located at the end of a quiet street and in front of a small hill with lots of trees. Hostel provides shuttle to the Main Street until 1130 pm. Guests are added to their WeChat and can contact the front desk for the shuttle pick up as and when needed. There are many restaurants near the Main Street and from there, need to walk about 10-15 min to the ancient town . Hostel room is elegant and spacious with separate living room. Breakfast included bun, noodles, corn… etc. we arrived late to bf and the lady cooked everything after we arrived. While we enjoyed the tranquility of the hotel, the walking distance from the ancient town is also something to consider.

Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. Environment: Built into the mountains, with fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Service: One-on-one butler service for tour explanations, very attentive.

They thoughtfully turned on the AC/heating for us before we arrived on a cold night, and even sent some fruit to our room in advance! This is a great place for families, with very detailed and attentive service.

The best service I experienced in China, even better than a 5 star hotel. And my standards as a German are pretty high. The afternoon tea was very delicious and the snacks always made sure we wouldn't be hungry at any given time. The driving service up and down the mountain is a life saver on hot days. The hotel itself is located in a quiet area with a lot of nature which makes it an ideal location to relax at and calm down. Finally my personal highlight was the butler service which even included a drive from and to the HSR station. If you want the best possible service at a reasonable price and a relaxing location don't hesitate to book this place.

The room was spacious. Although the road to the hotel was narrow, thankfully they offered a golf cart shuttle service, and the staff's attitude was excellent. The only drawback was the shower's hot water temperature and pressure, which were insufficient.

The hotel exceeded our expectations on nearly all points - the service was excellent, the outdoor areas are charming, and the upgraded room was spotless and very comfortable. However, the 'heated outdoor pool' listed on Trip.com did not exist, the 'signature hot springs' were closed, and the sauna was nowhere to be found. We were especially looking forward to the heated pool and were quite disappointed to find out that there was none, especially since the weather was quite cold. Nevertheless, the pleasant surroundings, the quiet yet convenient location, and the very capable and friendly staff made the stay very enjoyable.
