Phoenix Reed Crossing Courtyard Riverview Homestay (Fenghuang Ancient Town Tuojiang Branch)

The courtyard is beautiful, and I'll cherish the memory of sipping tea, chatting, and enjoying drinks under the osmanthus trees for a long time. The owner and his wife are incredibly hospitable. By the way, the cocktails she mixes are also delicious. I even met a Spanish gentleman diligently learning Chinese, which was quite serious. There's a high proportion of foreign guests, and it seems they all love this beautiful courtyard. I've been to Fenghuang before, and the ancient town didn't leave much of an impression, but this guesthouse, tucked away in a quiet spot, was a delightful surprise.

A beautiful courtyard with thoughtful design. The location is excellent, and the service attitude is great. They also provide a fantastic breakfast. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Fenghuang. It's so comfortable to just relax in the courtyard for a whole day.

The room was equipped with a Xiaodu smart home system, and the courtyard was clean and beautiful. The owner came to pick us up in the rain at Wu Bridge when we took a taxi there, and then dropped us off at Wu Bridge again when we left. They were very nice. The breakfast was also delicious, with fresh corn and apples.

As a man, and someone who rarely bothers with reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience this time. Every year I take my kids on vacation, and this is one of the few times I haven't been disappointed with a guesthouse. The owner creates a group chat for every guest, and any questions or issues are addressed by a dedicated staff member. Since the guesthouse is located within the scenic area, cars need to be parked in a designated lot, and someone will pick you up. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and refreshing. The guesthouse has a quiet and pleasant courtyard where you can enjoy tea with the owner or have a drink with new friends, and all the day's fatigue just melts away. Fenghuang Ancient Town is also worth visiting; prices are reasonable, and there are local specialties to eat and drink. It was truly worth the 1729-kilometer drive from Qingdao!

This guesthouse is incredibly warm and inviting. As someone who's never stayed in a guesthouse before, my first blind booking turned out to be a hidden gem! The room layout is bright, clean, and tidy, and the owners are incredibly nice. The staff are also fantastic. My short three-day trip to Fenghuang felt as warm as being at home. You can tell this place is run with a lot of care. On my second day, I had gastroenteritis and missed breakfast. Worried about ordering takeout, I planned to use the guesthouse kitchen to cook some noodles. The staff thoughtfully prepared it for me and even brought it to my room. Every evening after sightseeing, there were chilled desserts or iced watermelon waiting. I'm already planning to bring my kids for a family trip next time. I highly, highly recommend this guesthouse!
