"This is a wonderful hotel to stay at when visiting Fenghuang. Its about 15min taxi ride from train station and right to the hotel front door for 26 yuan. The staff are super friendly and helpful - communicate to them via wechat. I had a 25kg suitcase and staff carried it up 2 flights of stairs for me, theres no lift. The room and view is as pictured - has everything you need for a pleasant stay. 1 full day is enough to see everything - started around 10.30am and went back to hotel by 4.30pm to shower and rest then ventured out after 7pm for dinner and the night lights... got back at 10.30pm. If you pay extra to visit the local historical attractions and watch the show then its best to stay 2 nights - I just wandered the streets, ate and shopped. Theres some very nice and cheap souvenirs here! I really enjoyed my time in Fenghuang thanks to the hotel and staff. Simply amazing! Highly recommend this hotel. It may look far from ancient town centre on the map but only 10min walk. Wear comfy shoes, you will get a good workout exploring here!"

"Excellent value for money! A very good hotel! Everything is new and sparkling clean, the staff is pleasant, and the service at the reception is excellent. The room is very aesthetically pleasing and clean. There's a beautiful view from the window. The hotel is not in the very center of the old town, which gives it the advantage of being quiet. It's only a 15-minute pleasant walk along the riverbank to get to the center of the old town. The breakfast is mainly Chinese cuisine, but everything was very tasty. We definitely recommend this hotel."

"After reviewing more than 100 hotels in Phoenix Ancient Town we finally settle for Liam Hua hotel and we never regret it!!! The hotel is very clean and very new. we sort of got lost from alighting the wrong station and we called the hotel and the receptionist helped to send a driver to pick us up!!! 嘉嘉 is our housekeeper and host and she is very professional in helping up with our rooms as well as let us know where to go and even ask us if we need umbrellas ( it was raining cats and dogs when we arrived and hail stones in the night !!!!!) and got the driver to drive us to the town for dinner. We only managed to stay for a night and I will definitely come back again in the future !!!"

"I liked the tatami double-bed room a lot: the deco, the tatami, the (river, mountain and maglev) views from my room, the gifts included and the owner’s hospitality. I liked the miao costume and the experience very much. The owner had also gone the extra mile by kindly offering a free head accessory for free and helping me flag down a taxi when I couldn’t get any on Didi. I liked the plum blossom outside my window the most."

"10/10 Recommend! Lovely place to stay! Big, spacious and clean! It is just beside the river and at a quieter place. Perfect for light sleepers. It’s also near to the train station. The boss is so warm and nice. He picked us up from the train station, but do arrange with them via Trip/Wechat. He helped with all the luggages and introduced us the place. A big shoutout to him for sending us back to the train station because we had too many big luggages and he was afraid that no cab would pick us up in time. Breakfast provided which was healthy and lady said could refill! Free MiaoZu costume (can try but advice to go to other stores that are cheaper if you would like to take many photos done by professionals)"

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Waking up and seeing the beautiful view was breathtaking and a highlight of my stay. My room was immaculate and well equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. Also, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to help for everything. It’s an ideal hotel for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beautiful city (the location was ideal)."

"As a professional who has experienced many high-end hotels for work, I stayed with a critical eye and was deeply impressed. The value of its geographical location, the ”arrival” and ”vacation” feeling created by the large courtyard, surpasses the lobby bar of most luxury hotels in the city. The professionalism, foresight, and sense of boundaries of the 24-hour butler service are comparable to the golden key service of top hotels, and are more humanistic. Free pick-up and drop-off is an important part of enhancing the overall experience. The richness of breakfast and the quality of products can be considered luxurious in the context of homestays. The rooms combine space utilization, comfort, and aesthetics under limited conditions. What surprised me the most and gave me a very high evaluation was the customized washing and grooming products, which are not inferior to the luxurious brands of five-star hotels. Their complete brand thinking, unique fragrance memory points, and excellent user experience reflect the manager's profound understanding of the core elements of ”high-end experience”. Miao costume travel photography is a special value-added service that adds to the charm. This hotel blurs the boundaries between boutique inns and luxury hotels, and even surpasses certain experiences, making it a rare benchmark in the industry."
