"Just wow. Probably the best view in town. 😍The manager is super friendly and cares a lot for his guests. The room is huge, very clean and provides all amenities. The bathroom is very clean as well, perfectly equipped and has even a modern smart toilet. 🤩 the best is the balcony: right in front of the famous pagoda. Providing a real tea table and a swing. Perfect in every single way. The only negative thing is the parking area which is located in an underground garage on a construction site with absolutely no lights underground. It’s pretty scary going there also. The construction site is jam packed with trash and dead rats and cockroaches and you have to pay for it 🤣🤣🤣 this is the only negative point to mention but it’s not the hotel itself. The hotel is one of the best you can book."

"We stayed at this hotel with the 'unlimited hot spring access' package, perfect for a family trip. Even in the middle of summer, the hot springs weren't too hot. Facilities: The hotel is very new, rooms are spacious, and soundproofing is excellent, making it very quiet. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: The hotel is nestled on a mountain, so the air is fresh. There's a convenient path behind the hotel that leads directly into the scenic area. The uphill walk was quite a workout though, really tested my cardio! Early in the morning, I went for a run in the ancient town alone, and it was absolutely beautiful! Service: The service was the highlight. The front desk staff gave us lots of complimentary drinks. Breakfast was also very elaborate. We had kids with us who weren't eating well, so the hotel even packed some small pastries for us to take away."

It's about 800 meters from the scenic area, and there's a dedicated shuttle service from the hotel to the attractions every time we want to go, which is super convenient. The complimentary afternoon tea was also very exquisite. Originally, our booking only included shuttle service from the hotel to the scenic spot, but when I called, they offered us pick-up and drop-off service from the high-speed train station instead, since it was off-peak season. My daughter needed disinfectant wipes, and the hotel promptly bought some and delivered them to our room. When we left, the hotel even gave us bookmarks as a gift 🎁. The service truly goes above and beyond, and it's such great value! This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel nestled halfway up the mountain, highly recommended!"

"The hotel is located within the ancient town and is quite large. They even have a shuttle service downstairs. It's close to Hongqiao, just a 10-minute walk, so the location is very convenient. Overall, it's pretty good. The only drawback is the poor soundproofing. Guests in the next room checked in after 1 AM and were speaking very loudly, which I could hear clearly in my room. This really affected my experience. I hope the hotel can inform guests in advance about the poor soundproofing and ask them to keep their voices down to avoid disturbing others."

"Unlike other hotels in China, this one did not offer a pickup service from the train station, making our journey to the hotel quite complicated. The actual taxi fare from the station turned out to be double the price we had been quoted. We had received information via Trip.com that if we took a bus to a specific square, the hotel would pick us up from there; however, the hotel later messaged us saying they didn't have time to do so, forcing us to make our own way there. My husband lost his passport during the journey, but the hotel staff were amazing and helped us locate it—we are very grateful for that! As for the room, it was nice and matched the photos. However, we were told that breakfast wouldn't start until after we had left for the train station (after 8:00 AM), so they offered to prepare a packed breakfast for us instead. Yet, upon checking out, we saw that the breakfast service had actually been open since 7:00 AM. We also disliked the fact that the staff repeatedly asked us to rate the hotel a "5"; they kept checking to ensure we would give them the highest possible rating."

The parking lot is shared with the adjacent residential complex; there are spaces further inside, but spots near the exit can be tight. The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable for a family stay. The hotel breakfast was just average, nothing special, but also nothing to complain about – it was what you'd expect for the price. The hotel is a bit of a distance from Fenghuang Ancient Town, and getting a taxi during holidays can be tricky. Traffic on the roads closer to the ancient town was quite heavy. Other than that, everything was fine."

The hotel isn't in the crowded heart of the ancient town, which makes it exceptionally quiet. The river view is expansive, and sitting by the window, quietly watching the Tuojiang River flow by, I could feel myself completely relaxing. The staff were friendly and attentive, always responding promptly to any issues. For getting around, you can book the hotel's private shuttle service to and from the ancient town, which saves you the hassle of dragging your luggage over the cobblestone streets – a huge plus for tourists. After the hustle and bustle of the ancient town at night, returning to the quiet hotel to rest provided the perfect sense of vacation. First off, it's a Chinese-style courtyard hotel with spacious rooms featuring mahogany furniture. There's a terrace on the fourth floor perfect for drying clothes. The hotel's location is unbeatable within the ancient town; step right out and you're at the Tuojiang River. The breakfast is fantastic, especially the beef noodle soup – you can have as much beef as you like, it's incredibly satisfying. After booking, the hotel arranged complimentary pick-up from the high-speed train station and drop-off back to the station upon departure, which really shows their sincerity.
