This is the best place I’ve ever stayed and experienced in my life. From the room, to the outside pool, to the beach, food, activities everything. We got to snorkel as part of the acitivties and saw a shark. I would go back here if I had the money (it was our honeymoon at the time). So beautiful. Only thing for me was no TV in the room which was a personal preference. Everyone seemed to sleep early so not much of an atmosphere in the main area which meant heading to our rooms early so could have done with a TV. Also from our beachfront bure we just had pure sites of boats on the water. Would have preferred just the beautiful sea and islands. Especially to give us more privacy from the people on the boats in our own pool.

We stayed at Tokoriki Island Resort in May 2023 & really enjoyed our stay. The room was fantastic, very spacious & really nicely decorated! We had the standard garden bure without the plunge pool, which didn't seem worth the extra cost to us personally, since each bure has it's only semi-private garden down to the beach anyway. We particularly enjoyed the deck area outside our room with loungers to sit & watch the sunset & also the hammock in the garden. The pool & restaurant area is also lovely & the staff are 5 star+, being both extremely friendly & professional at the same time. As others have said the food is also great & the ambience at night with the fire torches, guitar singers & level of service is top notch. All guests also get to dine in the Japanese restaurant one evening, which we particularly enjoyed as they have 8 guests around the same table as the chef cooks in front of you & they are very good at getting everybody talking & getting to know one another. The garden between the restaurant & rooms was also beautifully manicured it really did feel like a tropical paradise. The only very slight negatives we felt (& these are more just suggestions to improve the overall experience given the cost per night, but are in no way dealbreakers), is to clean / renovate the boats that take you from the ferry to the dock & also provide internet in the rooms. Regarding the boats we totally understand that they are open to the elements & therefore the hulls get dirty & tired over time, but as a comparison we have stayed at cheaper resorts of similar quality in Asia & French Polynesia etc & the boats were much newer & in better condition that those used at Tokoriki. Of course this is no big deal, but it just creates an overall better impression of the resort if your first experience of arriving there is clean / new boats to take you to the shore. Re the internet, again we completely understand the resorts policy on allowing guests to switch off by not having WiFi in the rooms, but we felt this was perhaps used as a bit of an excuse as it's easier for the hotel not to have routers / boasters throughout the island. Don't get me wrong we are middle-aged & not desperate to be on the internet, but by only providing internet around the lobby / restaurant area, it meant that at certain times of the day everybody was checking their phones before / after & during dinner, which they wouldn't have had to do if they could have checked periodically in their own rooms. Also we are all adults so surely we can decide if we want to switch off from the web or not when we are on holiday so let the guests make that decision rather than enforcing it? Please don't see this a criticism as such & overall we loved our stay at Tokoriki & would return again in a heartbeat, but they are a couple of little suggestions which we feel would take the hotel to even better levels of excellence.

A lot of research goes into trying find a place to stay to give you a wow experience. There are many places in Fiji that are reviewed well but we were drawn to the Tokoriki island Resort as it was adults only, reviewed well and didnt have the look of a franchised resort/hotel chain. All I can say is we had the one of the best holidays ever. Our welcome song, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food and accomodation was better than we anticipated. We have a a beautiful welcome bula song to set the stage for our holiday. Within a day all the staff addressed us by our names and made us feel 'home'. The beachside bure with private pool was ideal to lay about and do very little but relax. The room was clean and the bed and pillow very comfortable to allow a great nights sleep. The only thing lacking in the bure was a TV for a little white noise for some of us that like it at night time and internet availability. I understand that the goal is to have a disconnected holiday but we live in a connected world and some of us still have businesses to run. So instead we need to revert to using our phones for data. the resort offers daily activities to keep you occupied, we indulged in some sensational snorkelling and had a great night at the the Tepenyaki restaurant, Oshii. The chef kept us well entertained and cooked the beef beautifully. The quality of the food at the poolside restaurant was exceptional and the cocktails, well, they were awesome, especially the angry fijian. The resort was the perfect size that you can interact with other guests in conversation and share your experiences. But what really made this holiday special was the staff, there are too many names to mention but I thank you all and thank you to Niumaia for your conversation with us. we look forward to a return visit.

This was our seventh visit to this resort. We had a wonderful time, as we always do here. We particularly love being able to go snorkelling directly off the beach, as well as being taken out daily to the reef that encircles the island on the resort boat by the lovely Lepani . The coral was spectaclular. The gourmet cuisine was first class, as usual. The "new" chef Thomas and his crew provide a wonderful varied menu. So many choices! Dining manager Kris expertly juggled the indoor/outdoor dining options, which changed daily due to some rain issues By far the most important people in the Tokoriki Resort are the caring Fijian staff, who make every guest feel so special. Their approach is the same for those arriving for their first visit, or for "regulars" like us

Our recent stay at Tokoriki Island Resort was nothing short of magical. It was so wonderful to return to our favourite island paradise and be greeted by familiar faces who always make us feel like part of their family. We spent 7 blissful nights unwinding, indulging in delicious food and cocktails (Mita's dirty martinis are a must-try!), and treating ourselves to the unlimited massage package. Tokoriki truly is a slice of heaven on earth, and we're already counting down the days until we can return next year to reconnect with our beautiful Filjian family. Vinaka for another unforgettable experience!

It's hard to really point out one amazing thing about Tokoriki, simply because it was all just so great, almost surreal that such a place exists. From the second you arrive, you are greeted with a welcoming song, and that really sets the tone for the visit, you are a welcome family member. Throughout the stay, the team was attentive (understatement), and helped ensure we were taken care of. As an example, we had a diving trip booked and asked if it would be too late to have a late lunch, their response was "Of course not, you're family, we'll make sure you get fed" We opted for the massage pack, and it was worth every dollar. The team are experts, if you think it'll be the same as your local massage place, think again. If you're lucky enough to have a pool villa, you can get them to come to the villa and have massages on the tables on the deck. We ended up doing half-half, as we loved the spa room with the water flowing down the outside wall, creating the perfect audio backdrop. The food is in a word, phenomenal. The chef and his team really take pride in their work. We love the Fiji curry, which rotated from beef to chicken, to fish. I loved the breakfast wrap, hint, ask them to add bacon! The diving and snorkeling around Fiji is next level, great to see so much of the coral alive. The staff are really what makes the place, expect all of them to know your first name within 24 hours, and continue to address you as such. It's one thing to experience great service, but to experience wholesome and genuine service is something else, the staff walks around with smiles on their faces, and you feel like they are genuinely happy to be there. It's no surprise that we overheard a guest had been there 55 times, opting to travel to Tokoriki twice a year! If you can indulge, we did the Island Picnic, where you are taken to your own beach on another island, with a bottle of champagne, packed lunch, Bluetooth speaker, cards, and pillows, to enjoy for 4 hours! It was truly the perfect place for our honeymoon!

Tokoriki Island Resort is simply beautiful. The staff are amazing and are what make the experience so special! So friendly and welcoming, they took care of our every need. It was great to get away from it all, relax and enjoy the pace of island living. Most resorts look like a poor version of the photos online. Tokoriki island resort is every bit as lovely as the photos and reviews show. Fantastic food at every meal, excellent bure accommodation where every bure is equally excellent, lovely gardens and they have a delightfully simple, caring way of looking after every detail. The music was a real highlight- the boys singing and playing guitar for most of the day makes the atmosphere around the main pool and restaurant area very special. We will definitely be returning there for future holidays. Vinaka!

This was my first luxury holiday, and it exceeded all expectations! The Tokoriki resort provided an intimate and romantic atmosphere. My husband and I chose this resort for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and Fijian culture, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a unique and immersive experience. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the hotel owner, who briefed us on the amenities and provided us with the opportunity to reserve a table at their on-site teppanyaki restaurant. We were delighted to find champagne and treats waiting for us in our room as we checked in. Although the resort only had two restaurants, the food was exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the thoughtfully curated meals, and the breakfast, lunch, and dinner package added to the convenience. While drinks were not included in the package, we relished the fresh juice, coffee, and bottomless champagne served every morning. The daily activities offered by the resort, such as volleyball, cava ceremony, and crab racing, added to the fun and provided us with something to look forward to each day. The excursions offered by the hotel were also exceptional. Although weather-dependent, we were fortunate enough to visit the local village and even the location where the movie "Cast Away" was filmed. This trip was more than just a luxurious getaway; it was a chance to immerse ourselves in the authentic beauty of Fiji. But the highlight of our stay was the unlimited massage spa package. We indulged in six massages each, adding to the relaxation and pampering of our honeymoon. Or the beautiful singing of the staff. They are all so talented! Special thanks to Mama, Tusi, Vee, Mosese, Kara, Mita and everyone else! Overall, the Tokoriki resort exceeded our expectations and provided us with an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it for those seeking a romantic, luxurious, and immersive vacation in a breathtaking corner of the world.

I have wanted to come to this resort for some time and hoped it would hit the mark- it did not disappoint. We visited Tokoriki for our 10 year anniversary. We had a bure with a plunge pool with beautiful views of the water. The rooms are large and well appointed. They also feel very private and secluded even though each bure is next to each other. We had so many moments where it just felt like we were alone on the island. We loved laying outside at night and staring up at the stars. There are so many visible from here. The grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. We wandered on more than one occasion, soaking up the beauty. I personally loved all the varieties of flowers around the property. The food here is excellent. We enjoyed everything we had. We went with the half board and never felt like we were left hungry. Shoutout for the souffle at dinner and the frozen coconut mojito. So tasty! However, the best part of this resort are the people. Everyone is so lovely and kind. They are always happy and greet you with warm smiles, by name, and ask you about things you had done that day or follow up asking how something was. The day we celebrated out anniversary they set up a beautiful table for us and sang to us. It was so touching and brought happy tears to my eyes. We just felt so special here. Vincent and Tiki were standouts for us. They were just great. We had come over in a boat and the seas were very rough. By the time we arrived I was weak and on the verge of being sick. Vincent was so nice and helped me walk to the reception area. I cannot say how much that meant that he took the time to go at my pace and made sure I made it safely up the decking. If you're on the fence about going, do it! We have such fond feelings about Tokoriki. Our only regret is not being there longer. We will definitely be returning in the future, no doubt being remembered and greeted with a warm hug and smile.
