SureStay Hotel by Best Western Florence

My room (#152) is full of cockroaches. The other room that I booked has a non-operational TV. The whole property smells cigarettes and *********.

Horrible room, was told the room was checked for cleanliness before I arrived. That was clearly a lie. Once inside the stench of cigarette smoke was all I could smell. Looking at bedding all that I saw was stains and under the covers literal dirt. Moving onto the bathroom the tub was stained as if it had never been cleaned before, and there were ROACHES. Literal roaches in the room. Was promised a refund and not even sure I’ll get that .

Staff was super responsive and friendly. Toilet in hallway was disgusting. In room- bedside table was falling off the wall and couldn’t hold a phone, plate covers were missing, sheets stained, changed rooms 3x to get ac that worked.

When we arrived we were given a key to What was supposed to be Our room. Once we opened the door we quickly realized their were already people in that room. It went down hill from there. Bed was broken down and almost falling to the floor shower ran all night a small stream that couldn’t be turned off. The doorknob on the bathroom door was coming away from the door it was so loose that it was practically falling off. This stay was a disaster. And we’ve never received the discount / refund that we were promised by either the property or *******. Truly disappointing.

This hotel had cockroaches everywhere. The air unit was filthy and had roaches coming in and out. The shower had mold and was detached from the wall with fifth and crud in the tub this place is an absolute health hazard do not stay here.

It appears that this hotel is being renovated but still needs lots of. The free breakfast is continental breakfast. The towels had stains on them. The cigarette smell lingers from the hallway and seeps into the room. The sink did not drain properly. The shower curtain pole was not screwed in. Lastly, police were there on my first night for a drunk man and on the last night, a couple was arguing in their room so loud that all heard it through the doors. The argument continued into the hallway, causing the dogs in rooms to bark. Did I mention we killed a roach in the room. I would not recommend.

Greeted by Brooke and she was great. I would call it sure stay away from it inn. there were roaches in the room. Clean otherwise. And people living there think there in the hood and carring on till 11pm and dogs inside barking their foool heads off. I will NEVER stay there again.

This hotel is quite dingy, smells horrible and the pets bark all the time. It says it has a gym which is literally the only reason I booked it but on check in I was informed that all of the weights had been stolen. The Staff is lovely though.

The hotel restroom was very dirty hairs everywhere and the room Next to me had a party I called the front desk they didn’t do anything. I had to leave.
